Arthur Numan astonished by Goldson comments

He talks about players being in the wrong positions when defending the corner and the throw in.

If others are in the wrong position then it will lead to him being in the wrong position to cover, especially the goal coming from a throw in.

Balogun in particular gets sucked out of position all the time.
He isn’t ‘covering’ though he has a man in his area in his zone bbb.

He is fixated on Nesbit and the ball as Boyle is less than half a yard away behind him and his bad position has meant he cannot see him . Imo it’s very poor play mate .cannot see how whichever player being in the wrong position impacts that ? Also those are his words btw so could be wrong as he was speaking while angry we are told .
Maybe if he just accepted he messes up too .

Are you Goldson?

That’s simply not true.

If a club make it known to an agent that they’re happy to listen to offers on players, then the chances of a bit coming in increases exponentially.

That’s not how it always works of course, but to suggest we wouldn’t have had bids if we’d made it clear that Goldson was available is a ridiculous take.
He was free to sign for anyone in January, why would we need to say he was for sale

It’s only half time but did you see Bassey play CB tonight?

Anyway, regardless of this, he’s a young player developing his game with us and there’s one thing he needs - your support!

Just to add to this, I really like Bassey BTW. He was extremely poor in centre of defence in Prague and hasn't, before tonight, looked comfortable playing in the centre.
