Bacuna - Thoughts on his brief appearances

Thought he was excellent when he came in yesterday in terms of game management. He, Wright and Sakala made the last 10 minutes pretty much incident free.

Would be keen to see him get some proper game time though, definitely looks like he could contain the spark we’ve been missing.

He plays a totally different role to Kamara does he not.
He would be replacing Aribo or one of the front three.

Our team is quite regimented in its style of play (not a criticism as when flowing like last season its superb). We didn’t sell any of our big players (again not a criticism) which has limited any fresh approach to the squad. Very early days, not a lot of minutes on the park but he could provide something a bit different that performances have indicated we need.

Next season after being with Gerrard and Gary Mac I bet dollars to say he will be a main player in our side you can see he has all the tools he just needs help using them imo.

Biggest problem with Aribo is Gerrard doesn’t seem to know if he is a midfield or front three player.
