I remember watching this a few years ago. I recently watched it again and i found some similarities with the problems the new Barcelona board were facing at the time and ourselves. Also the teams form on the pitch was atrocious and Frank Rijkaard was almost sacked but they went on a run after the new year and almost won the league and it laid the foundations for the most successful period in their history.

Here are their results for first half of the season. They were 12th in January. It can be turned around. (though i believe i may be kidding myself)

The difference is here the Tims are hardly dropping a point these days so we don’t get the chance to play catch up if we drop too far behind. More than 6 points behind them at Christmas and I’d be astonished if we caught that up.
