Just honking. Didn't venture forward and every time he received the ball he wanted to go back towards his goal. Frustrating as he had a good first half but you wouldn't want him in the trenches.
Really.....out of all the players you pick Barsic?? Geeze peace manJust honking. Didn't venture forward and every time he received the ball he wanted to go back towards his goal. Frustrating as he had a good first half but you wouldn't want him in the trenches.

Ding ding are we not allowed to question players when it's pretty apparent they aren't up for the fight?Ding ding, seconds out, a Barisic bashing thread. Tragic stuff.
See instead of just thinking about him himself, perhaps PSV set up differently to make it more difficult for him? His passing options were restricted by a man pressing him in the 2nd half. Which he wasn’t doing in the first half. He did lose confidence because of this though.Just honking. Didn't venture forward and every time he received the ball he wanted to go back towards his goal. 1st half we were finding Lawrence in pockets of space. 2nd half I think we found him once. Perhaps PSV made a tactical switch?Arguably our best player in the first half
Second half I think the lack of options inside him is why he often had to go back the way
He could attempt going long to try stretch the play down the flanks. We did have a bit of success with that down our rightWho is he supposed to pass it to when there's fuck all movement ahead of him?
Cant really blame Barasic when majority of the half Goldson, Sands and McLaughlin played him the ball when he had a man on him and no pass back to themJust honking. 100%. Nothing in front of him in the second half. Midfield completely disappeared in terms of attack and defence. I thought he had a great game.Arguably our best player in the first half

Kent was at the half way line or closer so you would be moaning about aimless punts nextHe could attempt going long to try stretch the play down the flanks. We did have a bit of success with that down our right
We done it all 1st half easy enough? Perhaps PSV adapted to itCant really blame Barasic when majority of the half Goldson, Sands and McLaughlin played him the ball when he had a man on him and no pass back to them
Second half I felt our energy levels and urgency dropped big time1st half we were finding Lawrence in pockets of space. 2nd half I think we found him once. Perhaps PSV made a tactical switch?
Because there was sufficient movement for an out ball.We done it all 1st half easy enough? Perhaps PSV adapted to it

And on another note in the opposite direction he tried some cracking balls forward in the first half when given the space, something we maybe have been working on.How many ridiculous passes did he receive early in the second half? Put under pressure needlessly.
To single him out is baffling tbh
We'd need a replacement lined up even if Yilmaz comes good.I'd be encouraging bids before the window slams shut.

See people don't see what you explained there, frustrates the fucking life out of me.2nd half PSV pressed much higher and left him with no outball down the line, they also forced him onto his right foot more often. That gives him a choice, go sideways, backwards or long off his weaker side. What would you choose ?
What surprised me was how often we went left from bye kicks etc.
BB played really well 1st half, PSV did what good sides do, the identified the threat and nullified it. We didn't have the pace in attack to make them drop back.
He was anything but brave in the 2nd half and barely crossed the halfway line. Not really sure what he was meant to do. We were insistent on playing out from the back which let them press us very high. Barisic always made himself available when the centre backs or midfielders were being pressed despite him being pressed, having nowhere to go and noone to pass to.
He was fine and brave in the circumstances.
1. Spell his name right FFS. He's been here 4 yearsJust honking. Didn't venture forward and every time he received the ball he wanted to go back towards his goal. Frustrating as he had a good first half but you wouldn't want him in the trenches.
Kent hiding, or Kent getting back his fitness? This is not a fully fit Kent right now.I thought he did OK, struggled second half but that was more to do with Kent hiding rather than anything he did
Whole place is tragic tonight - you’d have thought we’d lost to Albion Rovers.Ding ding, seconds out, a Barisic bashing thread. Tragic stuff.
