These away end tickets? My home end one is entrance E32Mine says E31 and my sons says E33.
Do you think we’ll both be able to go in via the same turnstile?

Aye mate I’m the same that entrance is right next to the away end entrances. These away end tickets? My home end one is entrance E32
I'm not sure but I think 30,31 and 33 are in front in a kind of tunnel like we have in the new stands and 32 is further back and leads to the top sectionsAye mate I’m the same that entrance is right next to the away end entrances.
I'll be around the quays for a bit before going to the game tomorrow, a couple of mates are going to the Lowry so meeting them for a couple of beers. Haven’t read anything anywhere about the bars around there being restrictive in terms of who they let in.
Aye mate your right the ones on the right are e32 and the ones on the left are 30-31 and 33 goes under the tunnel bit at the back I wonder if United put up barriers like the police ones we put up at big games.I'm not sure but I think 30,31 and 33 are in front in a kind of tunnel like we have in the new stands and 32 is further back and leads to the top sections
Always the bar of whatever hotel you're staying in i suppose if all else fails! I don't know either way what it'll be like at the Quays I'm just winging it and hoping I can just get a couple of pints in before walking over to the shit tip that is OT.Good to hear mate. Only 4 of us, all staying at the Quays, so will be a bit pissed off if we dont get in sosomewhere
I would be surprised if they put barriers up other than close to the turnstiles as most people going from the Old Trafford tram stop to the east and north stand would go past that area plus it's right beside the club shop. It sounds like most of the checks are before you get to that area in the car park Infront of the east stand

I'm planning to arrive down Matt Busby way from the cricket ground direction, surely unless there are barriers I'd just be able to walk straight up to those turnstiles without getting funnelled through the East Car Park?I would be surprised if they put barriers up other than close to the turnstiles as most people going from the Old Trafford tram stop to the east and north stand would go past that area plus it's right beside the club shop. It looks like Deansgate/ Bridge street area will be the best bet.Has anybody had any luck in finding anywhere open late after the game. I had a look online and it’s slim pickings.
There are checks just before you get to the ground at all games, usually just bags but they may check tickets for this game. The same happens the other side on the way up from the wharfside tram stop on SAF way.I'm planning to arrive down Matt Busby way from the cricket ground direction, surely unless there are barriers I'd just be able to walk straight up to those turnstiles without getting funnelled through the East Car Park?
That'll do nicely mate tbf. I've just booked a parking space at one of the quays hotels only a 20 min walk to the ground from there. Should be a top night, first Rangers in Europe game I'm getting to so can't wait for it!Got an apartment booked mate. So worst case scenario is a drink in the apartment before heading to the ground.
OK so worst case I get sent round to the East Car Park if they do ticket checks? There are checks just before you get to the ground at all games, usually just bags but they may check tickets for this game. The same happens the other side on the way up from the wharfside tram stop on SAF way.
You don't normally get near the ground on match day without some kind of check. I haven't heard what Man Utd are doing for home fans if it's different from normal.
I would think so, they may even just check you are ok and let you through, I don't know.OK so worst case I get sent round to the East Car Park if they do ticket checks?
we've booked in for some food near shambles square hopefully suss out the best place when we get thereBe good to know best area for some beers.
Far, far more. It's similar most Man Utd games though, last time we were down in December we stayed in Preston as the hotels were too busy and expensive in Manchester. They probably have as many travel as us for home games
All decent bars, albeit unsure how suitable for a sash bashIt looks like Deansgate/ Bridge street area will be the best bet.
That's where we are heading to after the game.

Home fans usually get checked again at the turnstiles too
I think there are spot checks set up to make sure the name on the ticket matches the account its onDo the check home fans tickets?
Have you explored other options? Can you not get a home ticket with you having an address down there?I've resigned myself to watching on tv, which is pish given the game is so close to home for me!
Genuinely gutted!
For a home end ticket you needed to have an account with United prior to the draw being made.Have you explored other options? Can you not get a home ticket with you having an address down there?
Not strictly true. For a home end ticket you needed to have an account with United prior to the draw being made.
They say that they do targeted checks but I've never seen it. One of the tickets I have say that they do check tickets against ID thoughDo the check home fans tickets?
No you don't. I have my home end tickets already emailed to me. Always ways round it.For a home end ticket you needed to have an account with United prior to the draw being made.
I have one from being a member before the draw but when you look on the site that’s what it says you must have an account before the draw was made not aware of any other way other than ticket tout websitesNot strictly true.
There’s ways and means.
My bad then mate I’m just going of what’s on there site.No you don't. I have my home end tickets already emailed to me. Always ways round it.
Got them via tout website. Bit of digital jigerry pokery involved on their end, but you get sent screenshots from inside of the man utd app. They only work on your phone, no print out.My bad then mate I’m just going of what’s on there site.
But is it in your name if they do an ID check? No you don't. I have my home end tickets already emailed to me. Always ways round it.
Yes, I know mate. I wasn’t talking about buying one direct from Utd.For a home end ticket you needed to have an account with United prior to the draw being made.
I was aware of that way I thought you meant there was a way around being able to buy them directly from the United website.Got them via tout website. Bit of digital jigerry pokery involved on their end, but you get sent screenshots from inside of the man utd app. They only work on your phone, no print out.
No there not, but chance of there being a check is slim. But is it in your name if they do an ID check?
Just been sent the same, paid extra for a decent section and the f*ckers have put me back row of the main stand, what section you in?Got them via tout website. By looks of things that liars club is closed a year. Just had a nosey at their FacebookIt looks like Deansgate/ Bridge street area will be the best bet.

We were told we'd be ID in Olympiacos, were werent. Very very slim a steward on a tenner an hour is gonna checkNo there not, but chance of there being a check is slim.
Middle right of the middle tier of the Sir Alex stand. Row wise seems to closer to front than the back.Just been sent the same, paid extra for a decent section and the f*ckers have put me back row of the main stand, what section you in?
Away turnstiles E30 is stated on my ticketThese away end tickets? My home end one is entrance E32
It doesn't but if it's the only ticket they have and they really trust you then you can set an app linkSo think I may have found someone with a Man U account made prior to draw that could get home end ticket.
If I pay £10 for the forwarding membership it says it allows you to receive and forward tickets.
But anyone know if this will allow purchaser to send it to me if my account has only recently been made or would he get the same message about account being not eligible.
Hoping its different from being the actual purchaser and at least allows you to receive a ticket
