Benitez confirmed to leave Newcastle United

Maybe Davie Provan will do an article on Sunday telling us how good Ashley's been for Newcastle and how we missed the boat big-time by turfing him out.

More likely it’s already written confirming Benitez was a control freak who caused disruption in the dressing room and how the club will be better off without him. Does Provan actually write anything or is it ghost written?

he offered him a 6 million p/year deal and £50million transfer budget. What more could Ashley do? Rafa had absolutely no intention of staying otherwise he would have signed the deal. As per usual with that mob Rafa can do no wrong though so they'll be taking to the streets with their bedsheets for a fortnight then they'll be back to support Garry Monk's Toon Army whilst insisting they've had enough.

Fvck em.

Gary Monk - three sackings and won nothing.
Roy Keane - Sunderland, Ipswich - failure. Strange the sudden way he left Forest though.
Kevin Nolan - done nothing in management
As much as I don't like the Mags they have great support and deserve better that the Fat Cockney. Think fans will want a manager of some renown at their club so not a snowballs chance in hell any of the above will be getting it.

If Ashley offered me a tenner, I would have the ultra violet light out quicker than you could hit F5.

Not often you see someone on here backing Ashley.

What more could Ashley do ffs???

He's a fat fu.ckin parasite who's raped that club to sum of around 350 mill with loan after loan after loan.
A club who should be near the top of the Premier league commercially are languishing near the bottom for the simple reason most profits going to that fat bastards company.

based on what? Their last trophy was 50+ years ago FFS! Is that Ashley's fault too?

I'm a Sunderland season ticket holder. I've lived amongst that mob for 20+ years.

Rafa has an offer of £25million from China. That is the reason he's leaving! It has absolutely nothing to do with Ashley. He's playing the Geordie hordes like an absolute good'un so he can walk away the innocent party. Rafa has no intention of staying. None.

Hope Newcastle are relagated and spend the next 10 years out of the top flight as then the lady's front bottom might actually lose interest as the pl money will have dried up
We cannae hate the institution that is NUFC simply because of that f@t cockney f@ckwit?

Roy Keane wasn't a failure at Sunderland. Far from it. He hit a crossroads with the previous owner and left as he couldn't work alongside him. Zero chance of Keane joining that mob or working with Ashley.

Rubbish
Rafa was always going to leave, he’s not an idiot. Well he was stupid enough to get into the contract where he’d pay £5m if he left but after the way he’s been treated and let down there was no way he’d stay

Seriously, you would trust anything Ashley says?

There’s got to be an easier way out, for their sake.
There isn't the lady's front bottom is all about money as long as Newcastle are getting their ridiculous pl TV deal and parachute payments he will stay there and leech of them he is a complete parasite

He'd need to call Lawwell a fat poof, roll around on the floor grappling with a foreign player and snort ching with Griffiths first to be punted.

If it were anyone else but the Bigot i’d say the likelihood of that happening would be near zero, yet, with that halfwit being at the helm there’s a decent chance!

Keane 'hit a crossroads' and 'couldn't work alongside the owner'.
Yet here you are attempting to shred Benitez for being in exactly the position you have just described?

I'm genuinely blown away by anyone trying to defend scum like Ashley.

Feel sorry for their fans. And none of us should be blaming them. Their situation is very different from ours (though we were possibly only weeks away from him doing it to us too).

If they boycott and buy no merch, what happens? Fatman still coins it in off the TV revenue.

If they somehow managed to get past the TV thing and made it disadvantageous for him to stay, what happens next? He calls in the hundreds of millions of loans that he’s put them in hock to, makes the club unsellable and bankrupts them.

The fans may be abused spouses but they are ones living under barbaric laws where they have no recourse from the abuse and can only try to find what pleasure they can from the thing that they once loved. It is despicable.

And we were nearly there too. If King and co had been a few days later and the further tranches of “loans” had been brought down then we would have been saddled with utterly unmanageable debt and could not have been rid of him.

They'll finish just above the relegation zone j reckon. Probably just too good a squad to go down given a half proficient manager but Rondon won't be back and talk of Almiron going to Madrid. Lose him and it could be a long grim season for them.

How is League 1 mate?

is that 50 million transfer budget over 3 years or 4?

Never trust anything you see/hear from the press RE: Ashley, he has them in his pocket

He offered him a 1 year deal.

£50m is nothing in the EPL (Couple of leagues above Sunderland so you might be out the loop)

No one knows the ins and outs of what was offered, but Ashley hasn't got a reputation for open and transparent contract negotiations, only a simpleton would stick up for him in that regard.
