Are you just naming players you’ve heard of from smaller nations?Marian Pahars - Latvia
Mehdi Mahdavikia - Iran
Arnold Peralta, Emilio Izaguirre - Honduras
Keylor Navas, Paolo Wanchope - Costa Rica
Antonio Valencia - Ecuador
It is entirely possible that my ignorance got the better of me.Far from a terrible football nation. Produced a lot of very good players.
Ali Karimi - IranTaremi - Iran
Kondogbia - Central African Republic
Shomurodov - Uzbekistan
Nearly forgot about Massimo Bonini!
Won 3 Serie A titles, 1 Italian Cup, 1 European Cup, 1 Cup Winners' Cup, 1 European Super Cup and 1 Intercontinental Cup and he came from San Marino
Think you missed out Russell Latapy.Salah - Egypt
Marvin Andrews and Dwight Yorke - Trinidad and Tabago
What, because I mentioned Izaguirre? Can you name a better Latvian than Pahars? Or a better Costa Rican than Wanchope? Are you just naming players you’ve heard of from smaller nations?
I have probably been to Gabon more times than Aubameyang. As the title says. Who would you say? Ones of the top of my head
George Weah- Liberia
Aubameyang- Gabon

At least I’ve got the calibre of national team along the right lines unlike 75% of others on the thread.
Agreed mate but I also mentioned Navas in my original post. Wanchope’s scoring record for Costa Rica was exceptional, regardless that most of those goals were against the lesser nations of the Americas. They had Navas that played for Real Madrid and PSG and won the league with both, and also won the CL multiple times.
I'd say that's a much higher standard than Wanchope ever played, whose biggest success in football is winning the English Championship.
Brian Laudrup who played for the European Champions Denmark?Brian Laudrup
I think this is the type of example that the OP question was meant for.Massimo Bonini - San Marino
3 x Serie A
1 x Coppa Italia
1 x European Cup
1 x ECWC
Arfield... at the time he came up, Canada was horrendousAs the title says. Who would you say? Ones of the top of my head
George Weah- Liberia

To be fair, they’re hardtothinkov.Lechkov, Kostadinov, Balakov
Even more impressive is that he turned down the chance to play for Italy! In terms of personal achievements and utter, utter pishness of the country , this has to be the thread winner.
Great shout.
Aye yaya toure was pish.Drogba - Ivory Coast
Yeah specially for a country producing two world cup semifinalists, featuring the likes of Lato, Boniek, …Lewandowski must be mentioned. Poland are pish. Must be frustrating for him.
Be lucky to make top 5 best players in the Jamaica squad.Kemar Roofe
