Never read the OP?Russel Latapy was a fantastic player
It’s not a tennis thread mateDaughter played tennis professionally
Can’t count him if your not allowed to pick one at the end of their careersAnother good player towards the end of his career was Victor at St Mirren.
So did the keeper did he not?he ended up at celtic , fernandez.
Schmeichel, Krul, Kozma, Ravanelli, Baltacha, Sauzee all fantastic players either before they came to Scotland or after they left.
Gilhaus was a very good player for the sheep in the 90s. Victor for St. Mirren also comes to mind.
Who was the Spanish international Livingston had when they first got promoted?
Right so after confusing myself I googled him. Played 77 games for Hibs, more than he played for Marseille. Still not sure why he can't be the best because, he is the best and by quite some distance IMO.I'm confused, why not Sauzee????? Age is just a number and if he is the best player then he is the best player.
Any op who asks a question then gives answers deserves to be ignored.Good to see you just ignored the OP
i actually dont remember the keeperSo did the keeper did he not?
Christophe cocard or Jerome Vareille. Vareille was the better player.I always liked the wee French lad at Killie - can’t mind his name. Cracking player.
Mahrez has to be up there.
Technically someone from Northern Ireland is not British.
Great Britain is Scotland, England & Wales. Then we have the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland.
I remember hibs were the same with de la Cruz assume hype record signing , tbf he did turn out pretty decentSo many people simply ignoring or misunderstanding the entire point of the thread!
The Dundee goalie who went to Crystal Palace and became a legend for them was good. Julian Speroni.
And purely for the underserved hype, I remember Morton fans creaming themselves over Marko Rajamaki in the 90s.
Was gonna mention him as wellWhen people are saying skatchel surel de vris worth a mention Aswell
Jankauskas - a big brick outhouse of a strikerWhen hearts had their lithuanian contingent there was a big striker who had won a european cup winners medal with porto a couple of seasons earlier, im not going to attempt to spell his name
Edgaras Jankauskas? When hearts had their lithuanian contingent there was a big striker who had won a european cup winners medal with porto a couple of seasons earlier, im not going to attempt to spell his name
Jankuskas - a big brick outhouse of a striker
Hungarian international who played for Ferencvaros, Standard Liege, Hertha Berlin, Aberdeen, Ajax, Borussia Dortmund, Augsburg and Gent. Won the UEFA Cup (Inter-Cities Fairs Cup as it was known then) when Ferencvaros beat Juventus 1-0 in the 1965 Final.Zoltan Varga, Aberdeen.
Zeroualia was decent Aswell keeping on the MoroccansNot in the class of player being mentioned here, but those two Moroccans the Hivs had when Joan Collins was their manager stood out at that level.
One of them had a very good game against us when McLeish or PLG was manager.
Julian Speroni in terms of foreign players who made a lot of appearances in Scotland has got to be up there - over 100 appearances for Dundee according to his wiki and then went on to have a career with Cystal Palace in the EPL. Can't be many in that boat.
Although Schmeichel was obviously the better goalkeeper he was only in Scotland briefly.
