Other than those mentioned from Valencia and Villarreal, I give to you Abedi Pele.
First name that comes to my mind when asked this question. Strolled the game smoking 40 fags.Robert Prosinecki is maybe the best I have seen playing against us.
I thought about him too but I'll plump for Frank Rijkaard (Ajax) in the pre-season tourney in 1987.Anton Rogan
Rudi Völler, Alen Bokšić and Didier Deschamps were part of that Marseille team and for me, world class. That game made a massive impression on me!!!Other than those mentioned from Valencia and Villarreal, I give to you Abedi Pele.
It talking about playing against us, Ian Ferguson played him off the park.Gazza for me, hero when younger and love watching the old clips of him.
On actual performances at Ibrox i would say Pele played better than Messi. If you compile a best 11 of opponents to play at Ibrox in a competitive fixture who would you choose?
Here is my effort
GK - Buffon
DR - Zanetti
DC - Ferdinand
DC - Frank de Boer
DL- Thuram
MR - Ronaldinho
CM - Xavi
CM - Mendieta
ML - Hagi
FW - Del Piero
FW - Messi
Did he play for Stranraer and get mocked when he came on many moons ago?No Bradley Kerr?
Friendly mate.Don't think Eusebio ever played a competitive game at Ibrox, did he?
He never turned up that night in 1972.Has anyone mentioned Franz Beckenbaur .? Sp my apologies, cruyff one of my favourite players ever.
Any of the Juve team that just pipped us by 4.
Conte, Del Piero, Viali, Ravenelli, Torricelli etc
The ultimate example of letting the ball do the running. What a performance.First name that comes to my mind when asked this question. Strolled the game smoking 40 fags.
That’s handy.Anton Rogan
Angloma, Sauzee, and Barthez in goal. Amaros on the bench, what a team. We should've been 4 down at half time.Rudi Völler, Alen Bokšić and Didier Deschamps were part of that Marseille team and for me, world class. That game made a massive impression on me!!!
No Kempes? You crazy bastards.
He scored a hat trick that night I’m sure?Benzema against us for Lyon that night was unplayable
Cantona has to be in thereIf you compile a best 11 of opponents to play at Ibrox in a competitive fixture who would you choose?

Friendly mid 60's.Dino Zoff, Sepp Maier, Laurie Cunningham, Iribar, Maldini,Iniesta,Gerd Muller
My favourite player when I was a boy was Eusebio, I don't think he has ever played at Ibrox.
Sure did, two from outside the box I'm sure.He scored a hat trick that night I’m sure?
Definitely for me, I remember standing in complete awe as he just dominated the game. It was like he had a 3 foot forcefield round him l, no one could get near him
Cheers for that.Friendly mid 60's.
Yeah it was an unbelievable performance that night. Pretty sure it was that performance that got his move to Real MadridSure did, two from outside the box I'm sure.
A night to remember, Today the East Enclosure would have been arrested en mass for the chants. His manager eventually moved him to the Govan Stand side which resulted in the chant “Bradley’s in the huff”No Bradley Kerr?
He scored 2 and set up 1.Sure did, two from outside the box I'm sure.
................I’ve included Kily Gonzalez as I’ve never seen a team tear us apart in the first half of any game the way Valencia did at Ibrox , and we were a right good team . Mendieta and Gonzalez simply were on another level . One of the cleverest players I’ve ever seen in the flesh . I nearly shoehorned Claudio Lopez in as well because of that game .
Yes first on my list ,but loved Kempes and Bonhof were something to watchFirst name on my list would be Johan Cruyff
