Ma pick tae. Every keeper used tae shit themselves when he stepped up.Albertz
I’d agree here but, I can’t remember too many misses.Really? I used to watch Novo's penalties from behind the sofa.
One of the worst strikers of a football I've ever seen.
Boyd for me. Never doubted him.
Old school head down and laces into the bottom corner with pace.
Just over 80%?McCoist 59 pens, scored 49.
I remember a miss when he scored the rebound.Hit the bar with one at Kilmarnock.
My only recollection of him missing.
Miller missed one v Clydebank in the first Rangers game I went to, put me right off him taking penalties although I don't recall him missing another.Alex Miller.
Never bit the bar, hit it straight off Alan Combe.Hit the bar with one at Kilmarnock.
My only recollection of him missing.
Never bit the bar, hit it straight off Alan Combe.
Also my only memory of him missing.
Was some free kick!
He did save it but he also hit the bar during the game so I'm getting mixed up.
5 pints before the game will do that or was it 6 or 4
Was some free kick!
No doubt whatsoever for me.Tavernier's situation is a strange one, he goes from being one of the best I've seen, hitting with decent power either to the corners or down the middle to once he misses the wheels come off. Do we think he takes the next one?
Thanks for pointing that out.Plenty of us never saw Hubbard.
So let's not end thread mate.
For me, it's Sandy but that's through the misty memories of childhood.
I don't know if the stats would put Sandyhigh up on the list behind Hubbard.
McCoist missed the pen at Easter Road 1985They all miss from time to time. I remember seeing Jardine miss at easter road in 75 when we won the league and Cooper missing when we lost 2 -0 at Easter road in the league cup in 1985.
YipBoyd for me. Never doubted him.
Old school head down and laces into the bottom corner with pace.
Super missed 10 on his own!Cooper or Super
Don’t think there was many misses between them
Big Jorg missed a few , Celtic and hearts spring to mindAnother vote for Cooper with Albertz coming in a close 2nd.

Exactly Run up,hammer the ball into the net before keeper can move.Alex Miller.

Yes. I was sure it was Cooper but I have looked it up and Cooper did not even play in that game. He did score the only goal in the return leg.McCoist missed the pen at Easter Road 1985
I can't find the link at the moment, Chic might have taken it down while he is updating it. Can't even find him on Twitter at the moment.Where do I find the database, Mate?
I can just about remember him but it is more an image of a player rather than moments in games. However I have this memory, which I think I may have invented because my Dad used to recall it, of a reserve game at Ibrox and he tells the opposition goalie what corner he will put the penalty. At those reserve games you could near enough hear every word on the park. True to his word JH put it in the designated corner - and sent the keeper the wrong way.Hubbard
