Biggest Spending Managers. Guess Who's Top?

What is that per season and net spend? Plus with inflation. Think most folks would’ve guessed what it’s shown.
 
I don't think that matters, Ferguson's largest transfers were £30m for Berbatov and Ferdinand and £27m for Rooney. In the market since he retired you would be looking at £80m+ for Ferdinand and £100m+ on Rooney.
I wonder how Fergie's spend would compare with inflation taken in to account.
 
Not taking into account over how many years and teams plus doubt very much they had anything to do with the majority of signings.
 
Would be more interesting if someone like Mark Hughes was on the list. Top managers at top clubs buying top players for top money isn't really a shock.
 
I wonder how much of these obscene sums is still debt? I find it hard to understand how such extravagance makes economic sense. Aren't clubs such as Man U and Real Madrid massively in debt?
