I have aye, and i’d say world class is a bit of a stretchYou no seen him play? There was a reason europes top clubs were after him
He is proof that there is no loyalty is football anymore.
He's was 15 when he left,he could have gave us another 3 years and left at 18,no loyalty from him just greed. Why is he proof of that? He didn't owe us anything?
He has as much right to leave his employer to go elsewhere as you or i do

Isnt it strange that a young defenders just left rangers to go to hamburg and was slated because rangers wouldnt match what hamburg offered, yet little messi here is hailed e world class and people are hoping he is back at rangers on loan... he left for CASH
Did we have a sell on clause in the transfer contract when he moved to Chelsea ?I watch them a lot he I'd outstanding at times . One minute playing font of defence taking ball of them spraying passes. The n he's in attacking position passing killer balls this kid has everything. Work rate unreal would say he one of the best young player On there books. Would love to have him back at sometime.
Would have been nice to get some loyalty from him, just my opinion as you have your opinion. Are footballers the only employees in the world expected to give loyalty to a disloyal employer who will discard them at the first chance, and who are not allowed to move to another employer for more cash?
Nope, we never had him on professional terms as he was just 15, Chelsea didn’t need to pay us the 500k, they did it to secure his services earlyDid we have a sell on clause in the transfer contract when he moved to Chelsea ?

Pretty simple really.Billy had the opportunity of a lifetime and he took it. Good luck to the lad
Panel spoke very well of him at half timeNoticed he has scored in youth final tonight v Arsenal
Agreed, f*ck him. Seen the £ signs and went running. No thanks, he’s had his chance, he opted for Chelsea, we know the reasons why and you can argue till you’re blue in the face, I don’t want to ever see him on loan here.
As a fan, he’s rightly fuucked off. A lot of us are. The system doesn’t protect clubs like Rangers.I can just imagine your big booming voice and raging purple coupon.
FIFA &. UEFA must legislate to protect / reward the club that nurtures the talent.
The Chelsea model also needs investigating
Perhaps a loan spell with us at some point in the next couple of years could be good for all parties.
Would you have stayed? Serious question. Knowing the state of the club right now? Chelsea want to make you wealthy beyond your dreams and set you and your family up down south?Agreed, f*ck him. Seen the £ signs and went running.
Still some of these guys will still say Rangers fans are the best in the world..Look at yourselves calling a 16 year old kid names, and slating Bates for signing for Hamburg.Incredible the people in this thread giving a young boy it tight for seeking the best possible start in his adult life. Daft bitter old men.
Would I have wanted to turn out for my boyhood club and maybe win a trophy or two with them as opposed to earning a fortune in someone's youth team? Depends if my motivation was greed or glory doesn't it.Would you have stayed? Serious question. Knowing the state of the club right now? Chelsea want to make you wealthy beyond your dreams and set you and your family up down south?
Come on.
