Actually that’s a point!Their champions league tie must now be forfeited, 14 days these players need to self isolate for. It’s the law

More likely that bitch decides to suspend football tommorow. No thanks.
In my imagination we win a quadruple this season.
100%. NHS testing should be required. There is zero chance any test they pay for is going to declare positive and risk their CL qualifierThere is absolutely no way his test will be allowed to be positive, the manipulation of that given it is Celtic carrying out the test through a private supplier, is inevitable.
50 Point deduction would be more than reasonable.Points deduction is the only way to send a message to other clubs/players
There is far to much money at risk for that to act happen and it is not going to happen.More likely that bitch decides to suspend football tommorow.
They're that good at covering up why couldn't they have covered this up ffs.
I love a good conspiracy theory and with that lot there are plenty but they can’t get away with dodging a requirement for a global pandemic.100%. NHS testing should be required. There is zero chance any test they pay for is going to declaim positive and risk their CL qualifier
I pray mate, I pray. There is far to much money at risk for that to act happen and it is not going to happen.
the sfa and SPL have a decision to make as to how they set a precedent though!
I was expecting To get checked but no one on our flight got stopped. We used the auto passport gate.Flew into Prestwick 22 July, no one was getting through unless they had the reference no, a daft yahoo tried it and got refused until he completed the online form.
If he is incubating and is tested positive at any stage in the next week then I think they are stuffed for UEFA match.
On subject of disciplinary I cant find any up to date SFA regulations. Still looking.
An SPFL update on 14th May stated it was a thread being worked on.
‘Application of SFA disciplinary rules in light of COVID-19’

The guy is an absolute idiot. As people have said, if that was Morelos and McGregor and not 2 of their mob then the papers and social media would be crucifying us.

Shouldn't these kind of scenarios have been one of the first things the SFA Covid committee worked on, so that clear processes were in place for the start of the season?
and Killie too maybe? The whole mentally challenged first team squad need to be quarantined for 14 days if this is true otherwise they are ignoring government guidelines.
Intentionally not publishedTry finding them.
And refs and back room staffand Killie too maybe?
Perhaps we should be advising their opposition of the legal situation in Scotland and clarification fc requirements to isolateTheir champions league tie must now be forfeited, 14 days these players need to self isolate for. It’s the law
Its a potentially massive sequence of events given that whats happened here is way beyond the traditional things you search google for relating to covid.
Hes gone abroad and could still be incubating regardless of negative test.
He has broken government level quarantine regulations and returned to his place of work.
What then happens to both him as an ‘unknown’ and those he has now been in contact with ? Are they now ‘unknown’ until such times as he is fully clear ?
What are the government level regulations when a quarantine breach and return to work has been proven to have happened ?
Its beyond football. But could seriously impact Celtic and more widely see SNP jiggery pokery to ‘shut it down’ rather than have the SFA penalise them. Fortunately such jiggery pokery wont be possible with UEFA as UEFA have clear covid rules.
Still no sign of SFA Disciplinary 2020/21 regulations, just a broken 19/20 link.
worst case scenario is the entire games on hold
best case scenario, is next few tim and sheep games postponed til later in season
The government guidelines say that if someone returning from a quarantined country comes into contact with others, they too must self isolate for 14 days.
You got a link for this mate? The government guidelines say that if someone returning from a quarantined country comes into contact with others, they too must self isolate for 14 days.
Only if they’re positive.Private positive tests have to be followed up by an NHS test.
Try finding them.
There is an annex on SPFL about how covid procedures work at every level. Its on the assumption of ‘the bubble’ actually being adhered to.
Nothing, anywhere about someone breaking government quarantine and playing.
They think they are above the law ..... lets see who has the balls to call them out.
The law is 100% clear. There can be no exception here, if they are let away with this then anarchy will ensue.
Sounds similar to Thumbheid serving a drug ban while being 'injured'yep,
test will be negative and he will pick up a wee knock which will see him out for 2 weeks funnily enough.
Fair enough Sturgeon, but Leitch is just doing his job mate. Hes been doing that job very well for years before he was known to the public. Not a political figure, just your average NHS long serving employeeChief Mammy & Chief Wiggam (Leitch) will not get much sleep tonight,
Aye I thought the word positive in the quoted post would have been a giveaway.Only if they’re positive.
