Bournemouth v Spurs

Spurs used to be entertaining while not really challenging, Mourinho has got rid of the entertaining part of the equation. The kind of boring football that's only bearable if you're winning.

He’s been a shadow these past two seasons, he looks done. Niggling injuries not helping of course. Goal scoring record is still okay but he just doesn’t seem as confident/ quick thinking. Not sure how to explain it.

Jose Mourinho. It’s that easy to explain. It’s not like Kane has been missing sitters he would have once scored. He literally gets zero service game after game and if he has any sense he will hand in a transfer request in the summer.

Clearly he’s also not playing with a lot of confidence right now but then why would he be? He needs to not be managed by a Dinosaur who’s ideas are 15 years out of date or to be playing for a much better side than what Spurs are now.

the West Ham game showed that Kane can still finish with no problem, Son put a ball in for him through the middle and he didn't have any hesitation putting the ball past the keeper

even he must be thinking it could be time to go somewhere else though, he's not going to win trophies there

Spurs were shit domestically towards the end of last season and the beginning of this. The slide was happening before Jose arrived

Mourinho is probably how you explain it :D

he needs to go to a team with creative players, Spurs do have them but they play the boring style Jose used at Man Utd
Was talking to my dad earlier about his chelsea team from 2005. Could you imagine telling yourself back then “in 15 years he’ll be playing Steve Bruce style football and struggling to get into Europe”. I just don’t get the change in psyche. Someone earlier in the thread suggested Madrid was a turning point. IMO spurs best formation was always in a 4-2-3-1 with Eriksen, Son and Another.
