How good would it be if French Eddie decided to stay at The Chamber of Secrets and leave on a Borman next summer.
Big Angela’s war chest would look more like a child’s piggy bank and, although he’s their best player, he would hardly be giving 100% effort every week.

To be clear here i don't want them to make more money but would it not be in celtc's interest to sell him for say 6 million?

No profit so the 40% sell on clause doesn't kick in. They would then pocket the full 6 instead of maybe 3 if (massive) they got 15 for him and had to split the 6.

given that Edoaurd is still under contract celtc would have to offer a sweetner for him to move anything over the initial fee ( was it £9 million ) will have to be big for celtc to make any profit on the outlay they have invested in Edouard
