Brown Brogues - Between the Lines

But but... £4M lights and the new £1.5M pitch

Happy Friday all..

Solanke..
Well rumoured all transfer window. This is not one that if going to happen would happen until Klopp has completed his pre season plans, assessed his Squad and done his own business.

Sturridge has impressed on his return from loan. And appears to now be ahead of Solanke in terms of selection. French news outlets are reporting today Fekir who can play AMF and Striker will finally join Liverpool on August 4th. Liverpool wrap up their pre season against Torino on August 7th. So if! IF! Klopp does decide Solanke would be better off out on loan, and the Player and Development Panel agree on it being the bet move for him,, that appears to best guestimate timescale for when we will find out.

Enjoy your weekened and the Wigan game.

HOW CELTIC HAVE BACKED RODGERS TO THE SUM OF £0 SINCE JANUARY!

This thread was started to highlight the Liewell PR machine that is now back firing. Now I am going to show you, just how ridiculous and outlandish it is.

In January Celtic added

Bain – Dundee – Loan

Hendrie – Dundee – Alleged £1M

Compper - RB Leipzig's B Team – Alleged £1M

Charlie allegedly 2.5M Euros for a 2 year loan.

David Friel who has played part in the Celtic hype let this slip

https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sp...-rodgers-january-transfer-window-david-friel/

“How much they actually cost is a mystery. At the time, there was talk of £1million for Compper and a substantial loan fee for Musonda. Now it appears Celtic didn’t actually pay a penny to get both players on board — but that’s not really the point”

In the summer they have added

Bain – Dundee – Free

Izaguirre - Al-Fayha – Free

Lewis Morgan – St Mirren - Free

Edouard - £9M allegedly

£9M Really?

http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport...s_the___7m_figure_quoted_for_Odsonne_Edouard/

Not according to Brendan Rodgers at press conference in March. When a Reporter asked if he would take up the £7M option to buy. Rodgers responded ““Where have you got the figure from?” said Rodgers in response to the perceived sum for Edouard. “No – it’s not that. I’m not telling you what it is, but it’s not that". Rodgers laughed of the value being as high as £7M, so why would they pay £9M if they had a fixed price in his contract below £7M.

Now, they sold Armstrong for a reported £7M. So this would have covered the Edouard Fee

They banked £1M from selling Sviatchenko

This leave Celtic’s total spend since January at £0.00 not a penny.

Also got a large sell on fee for Van Dijk did they not which hasn't been spent? Something doesn't add up.

Absolutely, if they did get that, again so we have been told by the Liewell machine.
Can't believe a single thing that comes out of that club. It's as if they continually lie and distort the truth in order to deceive their supporters into thinking they have all these great assets and haven't sold them. A kind of way to justify not spending any money on transfers but its gotten so ridiculous that even their dumbo fans can now see past the smoke and mirrors.

That being said - Rodgers still has a wage bill that is equal too or greater than the rest of the league put together so his excused are just that. Excuses.

Never ever trust anything the orcs say, you can bet your last euro it’s a blind for something that’s really going on

Why are they being so shy about flashing the cash they are always bumming about? Would I be getting warm if I suggested they might need it for a purpose that BBC Scotland won't mention?

They don’t have it unless they qualify for the CL groups, it’s that simple - look at their accounts. Right now their business model just about breaks even without that money, no more than that. There is no “war chest”, hidden or otherwise.

This thread has now served it's intention. If the Tims think Lawwell is suddenly going to open the purse strings they are beyond delusion or convincing. £52M wage bill. The same income they took when they last got knocked out the CL. The sell off will begin.

And hopefully to %^*& some buyers will realise it’s a buyers market and lowball them all the time.

A few more Boyatas and Baldes would be lovely, destabilising the dressing room and making other players not want to go there.

Equally unappealing to genuine stars hoping for EPL attention and young Scottish players. One can only presume that the stupid acquisitions of Ryan Christie and Scott Allan were not completely absent from McGinn’s thoughts.

Yes but they can make £50m by selling Tierney and Boyata (no laughing at the back there)

The PR department is one we really need to get upto the same level as those kunts across the city. We are sorely lagging behind them just now.
Dont need pr, just dont deal or talk to the media.
Do everything by the book and dont wash your dirty linen in public.
We did that under souness/ holmes/ murray ( for most of his tenure)

Well its a big season for liverpool as they have invested big time.
Klopp really needs to win something.
But wilson is already off to derby, so i am not convinced we will get solanke etc.

So on top of his £1,150,000 salary young Peter Lawwell has accrued in his coming bonus so far in the last 2 years a grand total of £2,296,000!

They couldn't get John McGinn cause Pete needs Steak Pie every night HAHA!

He could have bought mcgrin himself and put him is his back garden as an Action Gnome.
That would really have wound up brenda

Remember they told their fans they spent £3 million on a pitch & £4 million on lights? Bheasts ''Pitch Lights essential repairs to the roof and gable walls plus more stuff 3.9 million'' LOLpic.twitter.com/wk3k8KWrP8

DqDvez2X0AIIIAP.jpg

that sounds like a fair bit of work all for £3.9M

** ive absolutely no knowledge of works like this so could be a bargain/fair price/rip off for all i know.

some claimed his grandad advised him not to go there.

Hi All,

Having reviewed the accounts in more detail. There are few things I wished to highlight.

Over £2.5M on works at Ibrox
Over £2M works at Training Centre.
£3M to exit a 7 year notice period deal. Total £7.5M of £14.5M All non-
Recourring one of payments not be repeated. All not party to UEFA FFP as infrastructure not included. So that buries both we do not meet UEFA FFP for next year argument and the arguments next year will be higher again.

Since June 2018 when statement ended

unaccounted for

Europa revenue.

Retail income from over 30,000 sales.

Hummel £3M Tech kit supply.

2017/18 League Prize pot.

ST money was banked but income deferred .

Next trench of 32 Red Sponsorship.

A lot of new and large income streams and without reoccurring payments to Ashley and Stadium works next years accoints will be very positive for us and break some Timmy souls.

Final point. Close Brothers was not repaid. Accounts do not show it ever being drawn down I. E we didn't use it. We appear to have cancelled the arrangement as it was no longer required.

We have no security over an available £50M in tangible assets. That's £50M of assets we could borrow against. Not that we will ever need too. The thick Tims and their Admin fantasy.

Have a good weekend all.

Why is the floating charge still listed as "outstanding"?

Our accounts never showed us as using Ticketus pre-Whyte did they?

I fecking love Friday's

Open arrangement. Means if we ever wanted to borrow from them again framework is in place. I al ready posted the paperwork of discharges on the thread on that subject that showed without a doubt they are discharged.

As for Ticketus. ST money was reflected in the accounts. Just Ticketus had been paying it up front. There was no requirement to disclose it. Same as we dont put in their the credit firm pay up front for those on staged payments. Different here with a public company that had borrowed against an asset.

Someone has let it slip CQN are spreading accross their usual tramp Rangers obsessed occult, the rumour that Steven Gerrard can't take the dugout for the Europa Qaulifiers because he has not yet completed his Pro Licence. So here is the response should you seen any of the tramps spreading this.

Because Gerrard is currently undertaking the Pro Licence he is allowed a grace period for 1 annual tournament. This is to allow new Managers who have not Managed in Europe before time to acquire the licence.

And even if this was not the case Gary Mac already has his.

These lunatics never tire with their fake news. Shoot them down early don't let the lie grow.

You know I am struggling to find anywhere that confirms Neil Lennon has completed the required licence, he appeared to register so he could take Celtic in to the CL previously. But the rules state inscription to the course only is not enough.. will Celtic have no choice but to replace Lennon for a Pro Licence coach? is this why Lawwell had to try force Deila on him as his Number 2 previously, is Lennon too flakey and thick to study the course to complete it? Hmmmm.
