Bury FC phoenix club

@acousticblue , back in April 2020 you first posted this, and we are so Thankful.
And after a pandemic halted the start and then we won the Tier 10 championship and followed with the palava of getting the team back to Gigg Lane for this season, being unfairly docked 3 points and having to play two games behind closed doors, today we have made it to the play off final to hopefully get out of this league and climb back up
And during this time Rangers got their 55th.
Fabulous, and may many more come Rangers way
Thanks so much Billy for your help

You guys deserved every good positive thing for the club, yourself and others worked hard to get the club up and back on track, hope you continue to prosper and you guys on your forum enjoy the journey

Stream stopped but listened to the penalties on Roch Valley Radio and only 2 scored out of 6 not great.
Wythenshawe only scored 3 in fairness. But still, shitty way to miss out on promotion.
Hopefully a better home pitch and a more settled squad will see us have a proper go at automatic promotion next season.

Made a bunch of new signings in the last few days...among them Efe Ambrose. Not ideal but I guess as long as he puts a shift in for Bury I don't mind.

Welcome back
Can you believe it, the new season begins on Saturday, and Bury are away at Squires Gate in Blackpool
And that will be followed with an away game at Padiham
In the close season Bury have had a new 3G pitch laid, it is looking good

Hoping the fixture list appears below

A shame you are away, I'm in Rochdale this weekend.

That is a pity, hopefully you will get another chance later. The grass pitch has been replaced with a new 3G pitch to help increase club revenue and provide community use
Given the wet year just gone, the precaution was made that the new pitch would not be laid in time, but it is down and looks great

Hi, it was done on purpose to allow the new pitch to be laid with certainty
It will help to ensure games will be played during our wet season
Makes sense, no idea why I never thought of that there's been enough on social media about the new pitch!

A sunny day in Squires Gate saw a 1 - 3 lead at half time and then a 2 - 4 lead ended with a 4 - 4 draw
Plenty of goals but just the one point
The season has begun
Just been watching the videos from after the game and the scenes are pretty grim so hope that guy gets a ban from all grounds and hoping Marcel and his daughter are ok after the verbal attack and almost physical assault on them.

Next up, Irlam, in our first home league game with our new pitch

Next up, Irlam, in our first home league game with our new pitch

It was a sunny day at Gigg
In the first half
Irlam took the lead, we grabbed an equaliser.
Irlam got a penalty in the 45th minute and so had a 1 - 2 lead .
The Irlam keeper suffered a bad injury, a fractured cheekbone, in an accidental collision
The second half, Bury were awarded a penalty, Stepans scored it
2 - 2 result, some lessons to be learnt, but still an unbeaten start to the season

Bury were away at Abbey Hey tonight, gave them their record attendance
It was 0 - 7 until the last moment when Abbey Hey got a consolation goal to make it 1 - 7
A good 3 points away tonight

Next up tonight Bury v AFC Liverpool

Saturday is the FA Vase game
Maghull are the home team but have been able to switch the game to be played at Bury

Maghull are the home team but have been able to switch the game to be played at Bury

It's not over, until it is over

With the game seemingly sewn up at the 90th minute, Bury winning 2 - 0
BUT
In the 91st minute Maghull pull one back,
2 - 1
Then in the 94th minute
Another goal
........
Fortunately Bury got it to win 3 - 1
Game over 96th minute

Bury through to the next round of the Vase

Another solid win for Bury today. 3-0 win at home against Cheadle. If the forward line of Bury ever get introduced to something called the offside rule then they'll score a shit load more than they already do! 23 goals in the first 5 league games already but today the number of offsides against them when in wide positions especially was ridiculous! Looking really good though up to now.

I'd attach a photo of the Rangers Bury flag that's pinned up in the Manchester Rd stand but I've no idea how to upload photos on here. It's just a nice nod of solidarity between 2 clubs that are massive to me.

Great goals. Looked like they bossed it comfortably. The first was well controlled and calmly put away. The second was a perfect break away. Should have been 4-0 at the end because the player should have squared it. He was obviously looking for his goal bonus payment :)

We head into the FA Cup once again this weekend as we face NPL East side Garforth Town in the First Qualifying Round.

Dave McNabb’s side come into the game off the back of Bank Holiday Monday’s 3-0 win against Cheadle Town. Alex Cherera picked up a brace and Ruben Jerome also bagged a goal.

Bury currently sit in 5th place, five points behind league leaders Ramsbottom, but we have played two fewer games than our neighbours.
