World Cup 2022 Cameroon v Brazil, Serbia v Switzerland, Ghana v Uruguay. South Korea v Portugal - Friday 2nd

Uruguay the better side here I reckon, really wish Suarez had put that first shot away but it’s awful defending from Ghana.

Ghana have talent but their defending is so amateurish.

It's a shame but it feels like that's been the same for African teams my whole life. Pele thought they were close back in the 90s but they haven't properly kicked on the way everyone expected and it's usually defensively where the issues are.

I stuck a score on a red card in the match after Uruguay score the first.

2-0 now time to start booting Suarez lads

Justice done. Never a penalty, the player was leaping in the air before he came near the keeper.

Refs are scared to go against VAR.

Exactly. The referee saw that clearly and didn't think of giving it. But some fud watching slow mo replays gives it for a dive. It used to be harder to get a foul in the area than other areas of the pitch. Now it is piss easy. Far to many penalties being given by VAR.

VAR should intervene when there is clear diving. Tell the ref to book someone if they go down without contact.
