help please because of ill health last week the doctors advised me not to drive again and prob won't ever again be able to drive. The problem I've got is I'm only just over a year into a finance agreement and after speaking to them they are saying I would be better if I tried to sell the car privately. Where is the best place to advertise your car privately is it as easy as putting it on facebook, gumtree etc or can someone recommend a better way to do it ..... thanks in advance

How long is your finance? 3 years?

It's a peaugot 208 just under 4 years still to go it's a 14 plate

Check your rights. I thought there was a point you could just hand the car back and walk away.

I'd check with Citizens Advice mate , they might be able to advise as to giving the car back and terminating the lease

Have you checked the documentation to ensure there is no allowance to cancel the agreement due to your health condition. As mentioned CAB also a good route. Copy of doctors letter to finance company to corroborate if your willing to supply it to them?
