Castore - where's my stuff

Hope there’s some left tomorrow, got both long sleeve t shirts with the same design last week, superb quality

Have to say the home top i got was good quality but disappointed in the tracksuit top I ordered. It was to big the size I ordered anyway so sent it back for a refund. Not fused on the quality of training gear, the badge being just printed on is cheap and not worth the £70.

£170 for a hoodie is outrageous.

There's turning a profit, and there's profiteering.

They can ram it at that price.

Agreed mate if I’m buying something that price it will be something I can wear casual anywhere. Think castore has ripped the arse with the pricing and quality of a lot of their stuff.

Would far rather prefer Adidas or Nike or someone. Proper sizes to. The castore fitting is all over the place. Had to order a size up for the home top, then training top it’s different sizing again

Its a joke, they ran a pre-order one 1st of July, those items should have been taken care of before anything else. I'm sitting here and two separate orders for both the home and away kits for my kid have just been ignored.

Its a shite service they have put forward, but there is alot of I'm alright Jack with people here.
Yes, it’s terrible watching the wee man out with his pals who have strips on that were ordered after his. Every day he asks me if it will be today it’s getting delivered. I’m baffled as to why the hell they didn’t clear the backlog first before despatching new orders.

Load of nonsense, the castore gear is a much higher quality and better fit than anything else out there at the moment.

People like you will never be happy no matter what Rangers do.
Actually boring seeing people like you comment nonsense like that constantly

My brother received his pre ordered top today, so already considerably late and it had a big hole in the front of it.

People like me :)) So am I not allowed an opinion on things then lol. Away on. I was more than happy with the Hummel stuff last year. This castore lot are useless with their customer service and quality. We are allowed our opinions. That’s mine

The hoodie with the small wings and crest looks better than this Garcia and is less than a third of the price!

Not that I’ll be getting either anytime soon unless they put some stock online.

The pricing is fine and in line with their existing Castore Garcia hoodie.

And I'd say they went and produced a Rangers version from feedback and demand from bears. So they are giving us what a number of punters want and those looking for one knew the price point of this.

They will sell well, which justifies the decision to produce for a particular market/target audience.

I’ve still not received the home shirt I ordered for my youngest. She asks me about it every day. Galling to see other kids getting theirs from the shop while she still waits for hers.

Emailed Castore twice so far. No response whatsoever. Disappointing start from them

I received mine yesterday - after a week of no updates from Castore, I got an email saying that the item would be with me during the afternoon.
Curiously enough, the link from the order confirmation mail still said I would be updated, “when the order was being shipped” last night.

The numbers of sales are great but the reality that you have folk ordering away strips and training gear at from the middle to end of last week and receiving their gear before folk who ordered items on the 1st July is a shambles. When you consider that a lot of the late deliveries appear to have been kids strips with names & numbers then you’d think that kids strips might have been prioritised.
An adult will main a bit.. a kid’s week could be in tatters because their football kit didn’t arrive.

Lesson for me it that the pre-order (God, I hate that term) process is a waste of time and I won’t bother with it in the future. I like the look of a lot of the Castore gear but my experience is now loaded with being expensive AND unreliable to deliver so my likelihood to order is enormously reduced.

I’m a huge Rangers fan and I traditionally invest a lot into replica kit for my son & I but I’m not obligated to do so if I think the quality of the kit or the service is as poor as I experienced.

I got the Garcia hoodie delivered the other day and the quality is outstanding. I usually wear hoodies anyway but will be able to wear this out as it's always pissing down and the waterproof element makes it extremely lightweight.

It's effectively a jacket and I don't think there's an issue spending 165 quid in that case.

Out of interest what's the fabric like?

Waterproof hoodie is a new one on me I have to say, I'd just stick on a coat! :))

The usual suspects on here acting like Rangers store workers have a revolver held to their heads forcing them to buy it.
Looks like they are commenting that £170 for a hoodie is a bit wild. And the usual suspects going even wilder that someone might have something to say that isn't gushing praise about everything to do with the club or Castore.

Preordered 1st July and not heard a peep since.

For obvious reasons I‘m prepared to cut them some more slack than I would for a ”normal“ purchase but there‘s no getting way from the fact that it’s a poor show.

Pre ordered 6 weeks ago and not heard a word from them. The quality of their stuff is fantastic, however the problem they have is a lack of manpower for a club our size.

That's not criticism by the way, it's early days and it'll come. I think.

There’s other hoodies for around 60 quid they can get if they’re interested.

Vast majority of stuff on sale is affordable, probably only one or two things at a price this steep and it’s made with specialist material similar to their normal stuff on their website.

This argument you are trying to make is irrelevant, they haven’t changed the price of the hoodie to rip off Rangers fans. It was actually brought into the store because of the demand for it.

They’ve priced it fairly and in line with the Garcia range, if they were to bring out a Rangers version and charge less than a normal one costs then their general customers would not be happy.
