Celt*c cheerleaders in the SMSM

Probably been said before on here but I'll ask anyway.

On a daily basis we have the likes of Provan, Commons, Walker, Sutton, Hartson, Keevins and the rest of the Merry Bhand of Brothers basically PLEADING with the Celt*c board to splash the cash (which apparently they don't have) in order to fix the sinking ship. Don't get fooled with any reasoning that it is an 'opinion'; it is pure and utter fear and hatred that Rangers are back at the top of Scottish football.

This strikes me as, well, totally odd and unprofessional for a job that is supposed to be impartial unless you are actually employed by Celt*c.

When Rangers TIAR was stopped in the late 90s (and I wasn't in Scotland to gauge it) surely there weren't former Rangers players or media going apesh*t in the SMSM acting in the same manner? Different circumstances of course as DA arrived and things kicked off from there but this current level of cheerleading by the SMSM is taking things to a totally different level.

So far, they've not spent enough money, Rangers are not that good , apparently, ( which belies why they need excuse number one ), and the old faithful about Masonic refs is now rife again among the maniacs. lol

Celtic and their apologists for years told anyone that would listen they were cash rich , they’ve also told us recently they’ve taken in fees of £11.5 for Frimpong and £13.5 for Ajer and possibly getting £20 million for the French penalty taker

How on earth can Celtic be skint if these figures are true

Why can’t they pay £500k for Joe Hart

All we got when we were winning 9 was Scotland needs a strong Celtic. When we went through our troubles not a peep from them.

Not only this but us winning 9 meant nothing as we didn't do anything in Europe, well, except getting to within 90 minutes of inaugural Champions League final in 1993, getting eliminated by an admittedly superior, but cheating Marseille side.

I think that’s the reason why Ange is surprised by the media reaction to his post match press conferences. He’s yet to understand that he’s not dealing with your average impartial journalist or pundit doing a job, but Celtic cheerleaders with an agenda. Is there anywhere else in the World where so many high profile names on Tv, Radio, Newspapers and Social media have an allegiance to one club? No wonder the Aussie is losing it when interviewed.

How many of those like Keevins, Jackson, Hartson, Brazil, Walker, McGuire, McLeod and the rest who said Lawwell will get it right, Lennon will turn it round, are willing to shoulder some of the blame for the demise of their favourite club? None I’ll bet - yet every one to a man is pressuring the board to spend cash they haven’t got. You reap what you sow - and they better get used to a few more catastrophes - it’s the nearest they’ll get to a trophy.

We didn’t need to badger our board to be honest, Murray had appointed a world class manager and spunked about £30m by the time Celtic had put the trophy in their cabinet

They want their team to be better, that sad and simple

Already Ange has spent more in 3 weeks than Stevie G has spent in last 3 transfer Windows and more than Caxainha did at his time at the club

Compare and contrast the reporting of each manager in their first few months in their jobs though

Because their wage bill is huge and their European shit shows can't plug the gap to cover it.

They were giving bumper contracts to the likes of Rogic for playing well against Sean Goss and Jason Holt. Another 2 years to go on his deal.

The vast majority are talentless Nonce FC supporters who are useless and offer phuck all

Fan media will improve and the press will be even less relevant as football fans can see they don’t have any real value or insight

Tactically they cannot comment as they don’t have a clue

During the week, Talk Sport had Paul Lambert on.

This walloper was that delusional, he actually thinks and stated that they have millions in the bank from "years of European football", and fantastic transfer fees received in last few years..

Never touched or mentioned about what they have squandered over the last 2 or 3 years.

What a fud.

They’ve been peddling the cash rich stuff for the last 5 years at least. Folk still believe it right now, they’ll need to put themselves in debt to fund what they need.

There only sellable asset for a decent wedge right now is Eduoard. They could probably pull in 10m for McGregor but they’ve just made him captain. Everyone else they would be lucky to get 5m for.

They are running on an empty I feel and there board are in some situation. I think they realistically know that barring a complete disaster for us, Rangers won’t be caught this season. If they break the bank now, go into a load of debt and gamble on next seasons CL money and end up losing the league it could put them in an absolute hell of financial situation.

It's always been the case with them. When we were on top in the 90s all we ever got was "Scottish football needs a strong Celtic" and we were apparently just the best of a bad bunch. Our European failures were mocked also. When have you ever seen the same things said in relation to Rangers, be it 2012 to 2018 or back in the early to mid-80s? Very rarely, almost never in fact.

It's a classic case of the press telling the fans what they want to hear. The truth is they've had the entire fabric of their reality torn up in front of them, inside the space of 12 months. It's consuming them and they still cannot admit to themselves that they bungled it. Us winning the League last season wasn't part of the plan. I'm not even talking nefarious conspiracy, I'm just talking garden variety delusion here. They all thought 'the ten' was set in stone, despite prior warnings that we were further down the road of recovery than they'd care to admit at the time. They ignored those signs and decided to carry on pedalling the, 'Rangers are pish and Celtic are great' narrative and now they've lumped themselves with an angry viewer/reader/listnership who want answers. They aren't brave enough to give those answers, or in some cases they are too stupid to know the answers. Hell mend them.

Rangers 9IAR was harder as Celtic had no competition (Rangers weren't even in the top tier for 4 seasons of their 9) and Rangers had to beat the league leaders in the final game in 1991 to win the league that season.

Sakala , Lundstum , Davis, Mcgregor, Arfield , Aribo , Defoe , Kamara , Tavernier , Wright , Balogun , Bassey , Mclaughlin.......combined total in transfer fees anybody? Love hearing how Celtic need to spend millions by their twats in the msm and they really do if they have any hope of catching us in the short term but proper infrastructure is what we now have, they don't and it amuses me no end.

Its the same cheerleader faces in sports media churning out the same tired old shite they were doing in the 90s, it’s why the newspaper industry is dead.

Provan, Keevins, Spiers, McGuire, Walker etc

The only thing that’s changed is McNee retired, Delahunt got sacked for being an alky, and Ian Archer died to join Desmond Whyte in hell sucking cocks. Over at the BBC, Richard Gordon still wears women’s underwear.

Anyway, it’s all irrelevant now fan media has taken over.

Anytime a bear called RC to complain about our team or board they were met with the standard put down. "Do you think you have a divine right to win"?

They didn't need to mate. We absolutely gift wrapped that title for them and we sorted it out immediately. They weren't a great side at all.

It's the difference in narrative with regards European performances that I've noticed. Smith was routinely slaughtered for our lack of progress in Europe. Compare and contrast to when BR's teams were being humiliated in the CL. As long as they were lording it over sub standard players like Holt and Windass, Europe didn't matter, it seems.

One thing that bugs me about the press narrative right now is that somehow that mob haven't backed managers with money over the last few years which is utter nonsense. The figures they put out at the last AGM and what it's rumoured Flange has spent is not far off £50m over 3 seasons and they also still have the biggest wage bill in the league.

Flange has probably spent over £10m already but apparently he's not been backed is the cry?

Half time last night, Hearts 1-0 up.........John Collins predicted a Celtic win on Radio Scotland.

Back when we were on way to 9IAR, you heard "Scottish football needs a strong Celtic" every other week. Never uttered ONCE WRT a strong Rangers since 2012.
Collins definitely has the potential to be the rattlers DOF. Another sycophantic delusionist.
