Celtic fined 10,000 euros by UEFA for fan running on pitch v PSG. PSG fined 5000 euros for damaging seats.

Fucking unbeliveable.

*Edit: Title should say fan instead of player (or in Liam McLeod's case "someone with a Celtic scarf"

Sky also going with fan coming onto pitch.

We all must have imagined him trying to attack Mbappe.

Things like this do just make you think what’s the point in it all.

So you get more of a punishment for a flare or banner than for running into the pitch and trying to kick a player these days?

Absolutely mental.

The long and slithering tentacles of Dr Death still worming around his mates in UEFA.

Fucking unbelievable. Those tramps are untouchable with their mates in high places

There is something very sinister regarding Celtic and the national and European football governing authorities.
How in the name of fk do they continually, regularly get small fines?

Masonic Penny; Abroad with tablet, cannot get into a file I have on laptop of their recent European midden ours,
by memory they had a friend from the auld country who was on the disciplinary panel they could count on.
Sure their is a thread on " footballtaxhavens" on their euro sojourns over the last five yearsenal or so.

Slap on the wrist yet again, beyond belief, as mentioned before it'll be interesting to see what happens to Everton but remember they have no previous, Celtic have loads.

I thought the more you offended the bigger the penalty became,

We got fined about £4K for shitey Sean coming on to the pitch to protest at nothing

Then £6.2k for roasters flinging paper balls earlier this season

They get £9k for a pitch invader trying to assualt a player

How many placemen do they have in that joke of an organisation.

Stop exaggerating, he was jeest gonnae shake his hand.

Gie them their money back, for fuuk sake.

This is unbelievable, Celtic are serious repeat offenders and should be dealt with as such. This is a joke.

Probably all ties up with the Euro Mafia and dealings with dodgy Des the Bal- Tic Banker , nudge nudge , wink wink ....Nae' borra' Des bhoy we'll keep the fine nice and low seein' as how your payin' it .

The offences get more serious, but the fines get smaller and smaller

I can't really add anything to that, other than its unfeckinbelievable how they get away with it? It'll be interesting how the local rags report this, given that even they were speculating that this latest transgression had surely taken Celtc into stand closure territory.

£30m+ they'll make from the Champions League this season yet the fine they'll get is smaller than the profit they'd have made on pies that night.

UEFA are a joke.

Only 4K sterling more for attempted assault?

There is actually no such thing as an attempt assault. That’s what makes it worse... directing a kick or punch whether making contacting is assault. Their scummy fan assaulted one of football most expensive players on live tv beamed world wide and they get a poxy fine.

Something needs done!

Maybe some of the guys who come on here saying just ignore them and worry about what we do could exlpain to me why they are so protected? From their fans behaviour to their players getting away with continuous fouls whilst other teams are not afforded the same luxury,is it corruption, bigotry just a rub of the green it is beyond a joke when they get such a paltry fine when they have previous for opposing players being assaulted
