CELTIC have branded Jon Flanagan’s Old Firm appeal win “a huge embarrassment” for the Scottish game.

The Rangers defender was charged by the SFA compliance office Claire Whyte for decking Scott Brown at Ibrox last weekend

Ref Kevin Clancy booked Flanagan for elbowing the Celtic skipper during the first half of Gers’ Old Firm win.

But three former refs reviewed footage and all agreed the Ibrox defender should have been sent off by the whistler.

Flanagan faced a two-match ban but an independent panel cleared him at Hampden today – leaving the Hoops amazed.

A Celtic spokesperson said: “The whole matter is a huge embarrassment for Scottish football.”
No comment on historic sex abuse ya vermin bastards

They are right. There is currently a huge embarrassment in Scottish football. Although think they have gotten bit confused as to the topic of the embarrassment.

They only had to call the cops! :(

Really?? No but, really??

That's a bit rich coming from THE biggest embarrassment to the Scotfish game!!

In this instance they really should have kept quiet. They just seem to be making a kunt of themselves everytime they release a statement these days.

So, bearing in mind that they are being accused of child abuse cover up (which they are guilty of) they're worried about Flanagan getting a suspension appeal won?

A sham of a club. Better of wiped out.

There it is.

Rangers finally get a decision in their favour and it’s “an embarrassment.”

Forget he shouldn’t have been cited in the first place after a bending of the rules.

Forget Rangers have been pumped all season long by the authorities.
Forget Brown finally got cited after years of thuggery and once the season was over, for celebrating a goal.
Forgot Sonovabitch or whatever the f uck you call him not being cited for a proper flying elbow.

Forget you were rag dolled all over the Ibrox pitch.

Forget you’ve just been exposed for covering up vile crimes.

Yep, it’s a fucking embarrassment.

They really aren't helping themselves recently.

You know things are getting heated when even Celtic aren't able to work their PR magic anymore.

Above statements he said which given the complete silence on the decades of abuse in their name was looking like they had actually said something that was true. Clearly not. Maybe a Rangers player being treated correctly is more important than decades of children not being treated correctly.

Desperately trying to create a diversion.
They will cling on to anything right now if they think it will take the spotlight off the big story.

Nah Timmy, your paedophile ring has finally been exposed and it's now pay back time.

Well, while technically Flanagan is a Rangers player, the reality is that he is only on a temporary contract and can therefore not be deemed as anything other than a separate entity to Rangers FC.

The absolute fucking brass neck that those utter vermin have is astounding.
I'm not sure you've thought this through mate. Flanagan has a contract with the entity that is Rangers FC, therefore has to be an asset of that entity whilst under contract.

So are they claiming the compliance protocol - the one their lawyers and Lawwell set up and the one that has not seen a single Celtic player cited all season - is an embarrassment because a Rangers player won a single appeal? Aye right

Look - a squirrel!

Kiddy Fiddler FC cannot help comment on anything Rangers these days, just a pity the same cannot be said when it comes to ansering questions on the child abuse at their despicable club - that is the real embarrassment for Scottish football.
