Somebody decided to sell £123k worth @140p on the 10th Jan.
I hope there is no evidence of insider trading
Probably Rod the Tory spitting the dummy.Pretty sure if it was a Director selling then they would have to give out a RNS so must just be a shareholder. Generally the price doesn't move at all on a daily basis although has moved from c £1.30 to £1.65 over the last year.
The Piggery hierarchy will be frantically phoning Southampton to try and get them to buy someone, anyone.Operating costs in last 2 reporting periods - £174m (£87m pa)
Incredibly me (last period) £83.4m
They don’t get a Tierney sale every 2 seasons, they struggle.
You’re right it is a small trade. However, their shares are quite illiquid and given the increased threat from Rangers, the possible loss of Champions League football and an uncertain financial outcome of current legal issues, there may not be buyers at that level. Also, there may be a big seller in the background releasing shares a bit at a time so as not to hit the price too much. If the market knows this then they will mark down the price.88000 is a tiny amount of shares tbh they have about 94million issued.
Not exactly an expert in this but might it not be reasonable that large volumes of shares sell for a little less than small volumes. Folk willing to spend £1.5/share if buying a few hundred but lower numbers of folk interested if you want to sell a few hundred K so have to offer a lower price?Someone dumped a large volume of shares for what seems to be well below the market trading rate?
This was my thoughts, or someone cashing in to keep their business afloatNot exactly an expert in this but might it not be reasonable that large volumes of shares sell for a little less than small volumes. Could it not just be one of the unwashed selling their inheritance from grandpa for whatever they can get?
Wait till the court cases and The Documentary coming outRonseal.
Celtic shares down 2.5% today!
Something afoot or just a normal day of trading?
Whats the opinion of the Financial minded bears?
And that is what will finally put them on the Road to ruinHope it’s nothing too trivial and their poxy paedo harbouring shareholders lose a fortune due to their 50 year campaign and attitude re child abuse and failure to accept liability and offer compensation to the victims
I keep hearing these court cases. Is anything even happening, will the victims get justice?Wait till the court cases and The Documentary coming out
they will drop like a stone
that’s the reason they can’t spend big cause they realise they are in trouble financially
