Celtic share price falling

88000 is a tiny amount of shares tbh they have about 94million issued.

You’re right it is a small trade. However, their shares are quite illiquid and given the increased threat from Rangers, the possible loss of Champions League football and an uncertain financial outcome of current legal issues, there may not be buyers at that level. Also, there may be a big seller in the background releasing shares a bit at a time so as not to hit the price too much. If the market knows this then they will mark down the price.

When Qualified One-way Cost-Shifting arrives, writs will follow & we'll see who is funding seperate entity's defence. That's when their share price will bear scrutiny.

Someone dumped a large volume of shares for what seems to be well below the market trading rate?

Strange

Not exactly an expert in this but might it not be reasonable that large volumes of shares sell for a little less than small volumes. Folk willing to spend £1.5/share if buying a few hundred but lower numbers of folk interested if you want to sell a few hundred K so have to offer a lower price?

Could it not just be one of the unwashed selling their inheritance from grandpa for whatever they can get?

Just spunked £3 million fee and many millions more on wages on yet another dud.
That would surely give investors the jitters :))

This was my thoughts, or someone cashing in to keep their business afloat

Hope it’s nothing too trivial and their poxy paedo harbouring shareholders lose a fortune due to their 50 year campaign and attitude re child abuse and failure to accept liability and offer compensation to the victims
And that is what will finally put them on the Road to ruin

Wait till the court cases and The Documentary coming out

they will drop like a stone

that’s the reason they can’t spend big cause they realise they are in trouble financially
I keep hearing these court cases. Is anything even happening, will the victims get justice?

that must be near 5m of their market value. If a story breaks that justice is catching up on them and a court case awaits then get the popcorn out,

Or they have always been cheap tight bastards in the transfer market?

remember a few years back when our share price was unpredictable and not stable we had dozens of scaremongering on the stock market forums by the great unwashed. Funny if their antics are now repeated and karma kicks in.

The yahoos think they are invincible right now but it would not take much for the whole financial situation to be turned on it's head and obliterate their share price.

If Rangers won the league then Edouard is on the first train down south soon to be followed by Callum Mcgregor if they slipped up in Europa qualifying. After that they have no sellable assets of any real value and the big herman munster keeper they have bolts as he is well out of their price range.

Expect more panic buys from them in the last few weeks of the window.

Using the website given by @StuGers you can clearly see their share price increased when we returned to the top flight. All about the Rangers! :)

But to add some perspective, you can also see that this drop (however good it may look) is still significantly higher than their share price in 2016.

There is no doubt celtic shares took a massive boost when we came back to the top division. But they have been fairly stable for over a year as graph below shows, but something is about to break if last few days are to go by.

year to date

looks like £20m down in last year. And falling. They peaked when we were poor, now they will fall significantly as we return to our rightful position. So all lurkers, sell sell sell

Yip, down another 1.66% today which is unusual for a share which has been completely stable for years.

can someone confirm, is that £14,000,000 wiped of their market share in the last 2 days?

Luckily for Lawwell there are so many highly trained financial experts within that clubs support, that if they do fall on hard times, legal advice will be free, plentiful and oh so well informed.
Also very strong on tax matters. So I’ve heard.
