That is a likely background reason. They'll be panicking about champions league qualifiers. They will want to be playing and demonstrating they can host games before the qualifiers, so they can ensure they are part of it.
Is it so supporters can make arrangements?
Anyone not having serious doubts the restart is going to be a train wreck has a very optimistic world view....
There always is..............make no mistake about that. That is a likely background reason.
First old firm game should be at the piggery next season. But you never know with those corrupt bastards.First old firm game at Ibrox (no fans) second at piggery (better chance of some fans being there)
The scum are always up to no good. They are up to something
The fixtures for the aborted 2019 - 2020 season were released on 21st July 2019 - why the rush now?
Yeah that is what I meantThey were released on 21st June.
Get the fixture list out, play a round of fixtures then call it as unsustainable to run the rest of season and dully award them the title.
Exactly this, they will do everything in their power to make sure it’s as easy as possible to achieve, I said yesterday we need to be up for this, next season. For them it is all about 10, sorry 9.50, in a row.
Sporting integrity for them is so yesterday.
A tour of Japan maybe. They are up to something
Whit? One brain cell over here.
Want a bet they won't be discussing "why the rush by celtc"... you really have to laugh why the Tim's never get mentioned on these shows, lawyers on stand byYeah that is what I meant
he is missing his Brown bonus paymentsKevin Clancy must want to make sure his holidays don't clash with any important games.
Okay, I get the pyramid playoff being cancelled but why would this season's Scottish cup have to be cancelled? As soon as a league fixture takes place then technically the new season begins.
The SFA then announces the pyramid playoff is canceled. They have not done this as they would have to cancel the scottish cup 19/20. As both competitions are run by the SFA not the SPFL.
The SPFL / SFA would then be legally ok to play the scottish cup when they want.
My first thoughtThey are up to something
They dont want to play behind closed doors for the first old firm game so it'll either be switched to Ibrox or all the fixtures against that mob will be pushed back to next year.
This will be it. Nothing surer. As others have said they always have an ulterior motive. They dont want to play behind closed doors for the first old firm game so it'll either be switched to Ibrox or all the fixtures against that mob will be pushed back to next year.
Is this in case questions get asked why the hurry to end the last season so quickly?
Celtic have urged the SPFL to issue the fixture calendar for the new season "as soon as possible".
The new Premiership season will start behind closed doors on the weekend of 1 August - if Scotland is in phase two of its coronavirus recovery.
Premiership clubs have been given a targeted return date of 11 June for player training ahead of the new campaign.
Talks will continue regarding how lower league football will restart.
Making sure they have most of the games at home, of course.
Because they cancelled the league.Okay, I get the pyramid playoff being cancelled but why would this season's Scottish cup have to be cancelled?
Did you get the thread Title round the wrong way mate?Is this in case questions get asked why the hurry to end the last season so quickly?
