Celtic urge SPFL to release fixture list for new season

Decent interview with Budge just now on Radio Shortbread.

Interesting, she knows people who want to put money in to keep lower league clubs going (Not Hearts) and she is still getting NOTHING from the SPFL!

She has 2 QC's onside if they need to take the SPFL to court.

It seems she is putting x, y, z, e, f and g on the table - and SPFL is saying "Nut!"

Fixtures for last season were released on the 21st of June, the league will be starting on schedule so there's not a valid reason for this at all.

Expect it to happen though.

fixtures being read out to the donkey waster as we speak by Japanese eyes .expect them in the red tops tomorrow morning .

As far as I am aware there is currently a debate about how many teams the league will be mad up with so how can their be a fixture list.

Get the fixture list out, play a round of fixtures then call it as unsustainable to run the rest of season and dully award them the title.

Making sure they have most of the games at home, of course.

Surprised this made the news, I thought a call on the rat phone to Dungy boy telling him to get the fixtures out would have been enough

For them it is all about 10, sorry 9.50, in a row.

Sporting integrity for them is so yesterday.
Exactly this, they will do everything in their power to make sure it’s as easy as possible to achieve, I said yesterday we need to be up for this, next season.

Whit? One brain cell over here.

As soon as a league fixture takes place then technically the new season begins.

The SFA then announces the pyramid playoff is canceled. They have not done this as they would have to cancel the scottish cup 19/20. As both competitions are run by the SFA not the SPFL.

The SPFL / SFA would then be legally ok to play the scottish cup when they want.

Okay, I get the pyramid playoff being cancelled but why would this season's Scottish cup have to be cancelled?

Corrupt you say ?

Single Club agenda ?

From this we take it

Scum NOT voting for Hearts plan

Scum want SFA able to "finish" the tainted Scottish Cup by NO Pyramid

Scum wanting to arrange fixtures to suit their ECL failure

Scum have a tour of Mars to fit in

Scum have Ambulance to chase

Scum declaring that ALL that matters in Scottish Football is THEM !

Amazing, not a word from them for months whilst Scottish football was in turmoil almost on a daily basis then all of a sudden since the gift of another tainted title they can't help themselves looking after numero uno once again almost on a daily basis. Strange that ... pretty sure there was a story there somewhere.

You would imagine that if next seasons fixtures are published then any outstanding cup fixtures from the previous season would automatically become null and void.

Don't be so fcukin' naive lads.

You need a fixture list published before you can award the title.

They dont want to play behind closed doors for the first old firm game so it'll either be switched to Ibrox or all the fixtures against that mob will be pushed back to next year.

I was thinking this but there is no way we should except the first game been played at Ibrox or it getting pushed back till next year .

What’s the hurry now? Would a fixture list for next season normally be put out in May? Are they worried the decision for this season is changed? I just don’t understand the haste to start next season when they didn’t want to finish the last one. Do they need the money?!

This will be it. Nothing surer. As others have said they always have an ulterior motive.

Is this in case questions get asked why the hurry to end the last season so quickly?

Celtic have urged the SPFL to issue the fixture calendar for the new season "as soon as possible".

The new Premiership season will start behind closed doors on the weekend of 1 August - if Scotland is in phase two of its coronavirus recovery.
Premiership clubs have been given a targeted return date of 11 June for player training ahead of the new campaign.

Talks will continue regarding how lower league football will restart.

You have gotta ask, "Why?".

Curious, does releasing the fixtures imply anything. It really is very strange as though the Scum are desperate that there is no further delay in the start of new season?

They will insist on playing the sheep first. Routine 6,7,8,9,-0 victory. More than likely topping the table on goal difference or alphabetical order after one game. Then call the season due to some corruprly voted in nonsense again and voila.... Tainted 10 is complete.

Fanciful pish but whatever their reason you can bet its part of their twisted plan.
Utter scum

Did you get the thread Title round the wrong way mate?

Two main reasons for Lawwell to come out with this now after months of silence.

1. Yahoos are losing £5,000,000 a month not playing.

2. Getting them match fit for the champions league qualifiers.

Heaven and earth will be moved to make sure the league starts on time now that the tainted title issue is resolved.

Normally the spl fixtures (including cup games) are set upon the “UEFA match calendar”, this lists European completion dates and international dates
Obviously this year that needs to be redrawn as the euro qualifiers/finals need to be factored in

They have a direct line to UEFA and know that something is about to be announced that does suit them and are trying to play the “ we Have already announced” card
