I'm sure there was a Gerry McSherry or a Mcsherry family from I think the Barmulloch area of Glasgow its certainly not a made up name , also King was a teacher at St. Martha's school basically Balornock and they used to run a boys club at the school .
I know because myself and a mate who went there for a couple of weeks after school to play football with our pals who lived in our street who used to go to a similar school club at Balornock primary they were Catholic and were welcomed at our school, but we were told not to come back to St.Marthas when they found out we were not Catholics this was done by a priest and a school teacher .
This was my first example of religious segregation which at that time confused me and our Catholic mates because we were just all friends who wanted to play football together.

He also was great friends with Torbett and if memory serves me correctly he tried to get him employed at Celtic when the Bunnet was in charge only to be told to %^*& off. Very strange...

He was found murdered, the police tried to frame it strangely and forcefully on his brother which was easily proven wrong, then another paedo was convicted of the murder who has always claimed innocent.
One of the Celtic paedos was initially a suspect and had called the house the very same night.
The most alarming thing about this very alarming case was the perceived hurry of the police to tie someone else down as the perpetrator.

Think the police should be going back to who was in charge and dealt with the complaints and ask why it didn’t get investigated the police should be liable as well for not taking that seriously.
Think they would find the the person or people in charge probably have leanings towards that mob why else would you not follow up such a serious thing such is that.

He ran to tell the world Cairney was innocent and had the full backing of all at celtic while he was celtic manager and the bunnet stated the exact opposite.

This is the thing that really needs addressed.

It is now clear that Police Scotland were given a list of 14 names of suspected paedophiles operating at Celtic FC and Celtic BC back in the early 90's and nobody was convicted at that time.

I think we now need a thorough review of their "investigation" at the time and need to thoroughly revisit the interviewing of key officials in Celtic FC regarding their knowledge of these offences and regarding their actions not taken at the time.

It is an absolute disgrace, and a national scandal, that our SNP Government refuse to instigate a full public inquiry into these terrible events. What is it they don't want the public to know about these events? Why are they refusing to instruct such an Inquiry? It is genuinely baffling as well as inexcusable

There couldn’t have been one person that didn’t know because this guy was a whistle blower in the early 90s but it was widely known from the late 60s but obviously more would have known after Gerry McSherrys action.
And still the government pretend that nothings going on but were very quick to take side on the Lennon coin throwing farce claiming anti Irish Catholicism was the reason.
Surely with the convictions so far the government should be all over this they don’t need to wait till all the cases have been heard if that’s what they are doing because it’s very clear there was a paedophile ring operating at park head.
 
You can bet that Celtic are taking advice on how to handle this situation from the Catholic Church. Both of them are up to their eyeballs in child abuse and the cover up and it’s only a matter of time before it catches up with them now.

Only prominent figures in Scottish society making their voices heard and demanding an investigation into this Celtc Paedo scandal can ensure it happens. At present, no-one will go near it despite the mountain of evidence being racked up.

Let those words bounce around your head for a while, if you have children of your own and got knowledge that your kid was abused but someone ignored to act on the knowledge of the abuse, not only the criminal committing the abuse is deserving punishment but those that chose to be a bystander require punishment.

The numbers of victims grew because the numbers of bystanders grew.

The thing is there’s not enough of them that want this investigated they would rather it just went away, they know how hard they pushed to kill us off kept kick us while we were down and thats how theyre blatantly just ignoring this because the repercussions of this could see there angel of a club in a not to similar position.
This is not even comparable to using ebts this is the lowest act there is and to cover it up and not to acknowledge its severity they’re all as guilty and vile as each other.
The Scottish government must have a full scale inquiry or they’re just as bad as them.

This is isolation could be perhaps something of a coincidence, however given the long running list of related events one doesn't have to be Sherlock Holmes to put things together.

Make no mistake they are protected by high powers. Is it people within the catholic church who have always had a higher influence in Scotland than the demographic deserves? who knows.

He stepped forward in the 90s and went after torbett at his place of buisness and home and was painted out to be mad, fast forward 20 years and his accusations are now proven fact.

What he is saying today will undoubtedly make him an outcast to his own kind and there will be consequences for him,so just maybe there are a few like him who actually care that their club face up to the evil deeds committed by this paedophile ring and really want justice for the victims of these horrible crimes.

Jim Winning led the initial police investigation which was totally discredited. He retired early due to "health reasons" which helped him avoid any disciplinary proceedings.

Why? There is very little political desire for this to happen and the media certainly aren't going to put pressure on them or the authorities to do anything. I'll say it again; absolutely nothing will come of this. They might be shamed into releasing another statement or throwing some of the victims a few quid but anyone believing they will be properly punished or sanctioned will be disappointed.

Maybe the dark arts pr department at the piggery could have been ringing or rewriting to the papers using his name as a way of making him look unstable.

The SNP are now a socialist party, that is all you need to know. They are the same as sinn fein, hate the union, hate the English, hate the monarchy, hate any form of establishment and always divide and conquer, using anyone who listen to their nonsense. Their favourite divisions are Rich and poor, skin colour, Race, religion, gender, conservative and liberal. They are many examples overseas or close to home. Alex Salmond, Gerry Adams, Nicola Sturgeon, John Reid, Jeremy corbyn etc.
 
See when you think about McNeill’s “open secret” statement it is truly stomach churning. Grown men knew that individuals inside that club were defiling young boys. Grown men knew that heinous acts of sexual deviancy were being enforced on kids and they Billy McNeill included looked away.

I'm not questioning his compassion or qualifications as a catholic. What I am querying is a police procedure that allowed some randomer in to speak to a dying victim when they were still trying to determine who was responsible for setting a young lad on fire. But then the lead policeman at the time was Jim Winning (a relative of the cardinal I read) and who jumped ship from the police before he could be investigated.
