Champions League on TV

I just don't understand what on earth Atletico's plan was tonight.

One of the Atletico strikers has 10 goals in his career. The other has scored 17 goals since his move back to the club in 2017.

You have to score at least one goal to win the game. Neither of them looked like scoring the entire game.

Normally find Simeone to be one of the top 3 or 4 coaches in the world, but when I read up on the match and his set up I couldn’t make sense of it at all.

I only caught the first half but got the impression Naglesmann had drilled into his players not to rise to Atleti's histrionics. They just looked smarter and more composed.

I like Simeone but he got it all wrong last night.
