Havertz is one of the best young players on the planet. Nick Popes and average goalkeeper. Its brain dead mate. If Rangers were allowed to sign one of the 2 who would you pick?

He just doesn't look like a goalkeeper at all in terms of physicality. Everytime I seen him last season he either seemed to let in shots I thought he should be saving or struggling with shots that looked fairly routine in terms of holding them. He doesn't inspire any confidence in the defence at all.
He does seem to be susceptible to the odd easy goal from range. Still really young for a goalie, even the best go through periods where they are pretty poor, look at De Gea for the last year. It's IMO the toughest position in football to play, ultimately any mistake costs your team and a lot of it comes down to mental toughness which is why guys like McGregor have made it with us, not the most talented all round keeper, but has the mentality to stay switched on at all times, make big saves and also come back from his odd clanger. Other goalies let things fester in their minds (Like Kepa is IMO)

He wasn’t this bad in his first year at Chelsea and whilst they may have paid over the odds, for the guy to be Bilbao’s No1 and broken into the Spanish setup by his early-20s suggests there is (or was) a keeper of real talent and potential.
His confidence is utterly shot, He’s not helped by Chelsea having a poor defence, but any half decent effort from 25-30 yards out seems to beat him easily.
He needs out of Chelsea. Perhaps a loan move for 12 months might help him recover his confidence, but it’s hard to see him ever becoming the Cech/Courtois level of keeper that Chelsea need as their No1

Seems to be a total nervous wreck and has a really bad time saving shots, which for a goalkeeper you would imagine is a bad thing 
Bit of a British old school football thing, but any team playing against him should be lumping a few balls into the box early and giving him a good barge then fire in some long shots.

Pope is far from average. And you’re clearly missing my point entirely so we’ll leave it there!
Hes actually a good shot stopper as long as it's not a long range shot. Chelsea aren't winning anything with him in goals though

His first season with Chelsea was fine but for whatever reason he has lost confidence completely and is struggling. Chelsea need a keeper of the calibre that City and Liverpool have not sure Mendy is the right answer.
Oblak would’ve been ideal but Atletico stood firm and wanted his full €120m release clause which is their right unfortunately!
