Anyone think this mini tournament format could be made permanent going forward?

How much money would UEFA lose through advertising etc having one off games as opposed to two legs? That would play a big factor in it I would imagine.

The CL in particular should be excellent viewing.

Hardly an even playing field when some clubs have been playing for weeks compared to other who have played none... 1 off games and 2 legged games in the same competition etc crazy the lengths UEFA are going to simply to get this over the line.

Be worth it when we lift the trophy though

If it ends 3-3 on aggregate the only way we are going through is if they play some one that is not eligible or any Celtc type technicalities, personally 55 is too important to fuq about with, I say play the kids and give UEFA and their daft mini tournament the 2 fingered salute.
