Bagged for a black woman commentator , it is the way of this world now Clive .
Decision was made 3 weeks ago, I assume in that time he would have made other broadcasters know the situation and nobody has offered him anything?Anyone else would leave the company, he's going to stay. Unless he is getting no.1 money for being a no.2? Or he had a shite contract that allowed his job and salary to change at the drop of a hat.
Aren’t they all, him and Martin Tyler need to be replaced one dayGood, he is an insufferable pr*ck
For me, he was the voice of the champions league!Brian Moore was the GOAT.
Shes a horrible bint.
Yep him and Don HoweFor me, he was the voice of the champions league!
who was the main commentator for the Italian football on C4? The name Brackley rings a bell?
Just me that was expecting him to stand up like this at the end?
Is this deeply satirical or are you being serious?National treasure being replaced by a box ticker, absolutely disgusting day in British history.

Remember seeing a clip of people trying to do a live to camera piece, with the gallery talking in their ear and chatting to the guest to keep them comfortable and keeping the audience onside, and smiling the whole way through and it looks a fucking nightmare.Matterface’s unstoppable rise is inexplicable.

There goes Clive Tyldesley, I must remember to thank him.
For me Paul Mitchell of BBC Scotland is the worst
Forgot about him its been that long since i watched BBC, agreedNever heard Liam McLeod?
Makes Mitchell sound like Barry Davies.
I would have expected Darren "Neil Lennon is a personal friend" Fletcher to take over.
Why do these pricks think the world owes them a living? Motson was the same. So full of self importance.
As ever the problem is they think they are as significant a part of the viewer's experience as the game itself.
Good, insufferable prick.
He is brutal nowadays he just waffles constant shite.Martin Tyler is long past his sell by date
I can't mind what BBC Scotland commentator it was but I remember watching a Scottish cup game (I'm pretty sure it involved ICT) and they scored a penalty, the guy waited on the keeper going down and then rolled it into the other side of the goal: fairly standard stuff but probably out of the ordinary in Scotland. And he squealed "GENIUS". There was about 1500 people in the ground. I nearly cringed myself to death at the sheer tin potedness of it.Never heard Liam McLeod?

Only thing that's offended me is that crap meme mate, hahaha!Quite a few folk not letting the facts get in the way of a nice trip. All aboard!

Insufferable during England games.
I still think he doomed England in 2010 by his arrogant ‘this might be fun’ commentary after Gerrards early goal. Ended up scraping through the groups and then being pumped by Germany in the last 16:
I missed that goal live as ITV cut to an advert on the hd feed when it happened.Insufferable during England games.
