My reply from a Mr Graham Bryce from Radio Clyde after being put onto him from his bosses in England so there it is in black and white, they will happily talk about face painters and newsagents not being payed a couple of hundred quid but the most disgusting crimes of all at a football club canny be talking about that ..... Here is his reply

Hi John
Your email below has been passed to me.
As you will be aware Superscoreboard is a show on Clyde 1, a station that is designed to principally entertain our listeners in the West of Scotland with a mixture of great popular music, news and information and engaging presenters.
Our Superscoreboard show works really hard to be completely impartial and to reflect in a balanced way the views of all sides in any debate.
Within this we have to take editorial judgements on what elements we feel it is right to broadcast within an entertainment program.
We have taken the editorial judgement that any discussion of child sex abuse allegations are inappropriate for an entertainment program with a family target in mind. You will understand that we are also governed by strict OFCOM regulations on our content and its appropriateness for a family audience.
Whether those accusations were against any football club or people affiliated to any club we would treat them equally regardless of their affiliation.
It is our view that we should only discuss matters relating to football or the business of running football clubs.
We fully understand the desire by some for these matters to be discussed on the show but feel it is outwith the editorial boundaries of our entertainment program and our station and that other organisations are better placed to discuss, report and debate these matters.
I hope this gives you a greater understanding of our decision on this matter.
Best regards
Graham

Contact them en masse and see what happens, why would you let it slide after getting such a despicable response?

This is just a blatant lie from Radio Clyde. They've reported on the litany of Piggery abusers jailed in their news bulletins. They just don't want the moral legacies of their heroes McNeil and Stein to be placed under public scrutiny. Luckily, we still have genuine journalists out there.

All those young lads and their parents, who thought they were involved with Celtic FC when they played at the Celtic Boys Club, have been deceived and misled over a period of decades. They have never been involved with Celtic, have no connection with Celtic and have no right to claim they did.
That's the apparent stance of Celtic FC at the moment. This cannot be discussed on a football show?

RC has for years been putting the boot into Rangers after the EBT debacle and gave their audience the platform to air their hatred of Rangers and our fans

The fact they are never going to let any calls onto the phone in to discuss the biggest scandal in British football shows their editorial stance is based on covering up and minimalising the negativity towards Separate Entity FC

I only tune in occasionally after the mentally challengeds get beat for the Timplosion but that’s me finished with them forever

Paedo supporting scumbags who have no interest in shaming Beast FC and highlighting was a vile and disgusting club they are

Rangers FC should be telling RC to f.uck off and they are no longer welcome at our club

As OP has it in black and white it proves their agenda once and for all

Well done you jf1960 for calling them to account. Might I suggest that if you are planning a follow up to your letter you might point out to them that it is very much a football and football business matter. Not only that, but one that could have widespread football and financial consequences.
If(should be when) Celtc are found guilty of covering up child abuse, there could be massive consequences for the Scottish game. The SFA could come under scrutiny from UEFA and/or FIFA and other outside agencies. Again if a succession of Celtc Directors and Management teams have been found to cover up these crimes, their Club could theoretically be subject to retrospective punishment.
Financial penalties, forfeit of trophies won during this period, or my personal preference, demotion to the lower leagues. Although twenty thousand leagues under the sea would be letting them off lightly.
The possibility of this happening could have far reaching effects on other Clubs and would very much come under football and football business.

Radio Clyde and other MSM are fast becoming accessories to these crimes before and after the fact.

Celtic are in the business of facilitating and covering up child sex abuse in football, a heinous crime if ever there was one.

A rancid putrid shameful organisation from top to bottom. Those mhedia sycophants are every bit as complicit by not having the guts to be truthful and open about covering it

So cast iron criminal convictions are secured against Celtics network of paedophiles and it’s not worthy of discussion ?

In any event they are a one way street, let’s help Helen Gray and her daughter get the publicity they seek to further justice on behalf of the victims, perhaps under a wider platform such as Talksport and the Solicitor from Thompson’s, Patrick McGuire and help drive justice for the victims.

You have got to ‘admire’ the propaganda machine that is CFC.

They have a stranglehold on every media outlet & are STILL in control of the situation.

It is simply incredible how they have achieved this and makes you think what have they got that makes everyone terrified of speaking out against them.

No true bear listens to RC.
Granted - its small fry in the grand scheme of things and that shower of shameless scum need to be outed globally at what they (haven't) done in all this sorry seedy affair - but the likes of Clyde salivated over our troubles in 2012 and as Glasgow's main radio station covering Glasgow's main sport they should be transparent and equitable in how they report things

Contact Clydes sponsors and ask if they are ok with being associated with a show that continues to cover up the institutional paedophilia that has been widely reported and discussed on other platforms!

Don't know how true this is but Keevins apparently threatened to resign if this was discussed. I think it was more to do with Billy McNeill and Keevins not wanting his name tarnished.
Heard that also but it was Jock Stein i heard

I've already contacted Adrian Durham last week giving details so far heard nothing would not be surprised if anything on this is put by Alan Brazil first ....

Be doing that next was gonna do BBC and Radio Scotland this week but these b#stards have wound me up now. For anybody that hasn't seen I contacted all of celtic's sponsors to tell them about being associated with this club so far got an answer from 2 Nirvana Europe and Mr Green's i think is some kind of online casino got virtually the same answer that they know about it and are monitoring it

Anybody with Facebook , Twitter etc please spread the word about these cowards on RC
#tosaynothingspeaksalot

Can any high profile Twitter users not get this tweeted to a wider audience?

RC and SSB refuse to discuss the child sex abuse convictions at CBC and CFC as it’s not “football related”

If Helene Gray and her family and other victims see the tweet they can share and ask questions of RC and more importantly Bauer Media who own RC as to why RC will not debate the issue

This is disgusting editorial stance and we all know it’s to minimise the negativity to CFC

Not going to be popular, I actually agree, I don't believe child abuse should be discussed on a football show.

There is a 2 page thread on here calling out an MSP for comparing both the financial situation and the child abuse cases. Clyde are basically saying the same as everyone as those sharing their outrage on that thread, there is no comparison and it is not something that should be compared.

One is ok to talk about on a football show as it had a direct impact on us and football, the other is child abuse.
