The Aluko retrospective action was an absolute disgrace, as you say similar to the Killie incident in that there is contact and the player exaggerates the fall, as many do and get away with it. I think the Compliance officer is an unnecessary part of the game and compromises referees.

If you watch the replay the Kilmarnock player has a hold of Barisic jerset first and holds on pretty much the full way until he decides to throw himself. It shouldve been a free kick to us. Then youve got the defender having 2 or 3 pulls on Goldson at the free kick 5 yards in front of the ref that we got nothing for. Or the blatant handball Collum was looking at and had no interest in.
