The Papac photo is real - the photographer is using a telephoto lens and that compresses perspective and distance. In a sense the photo is misleading a little bit because he isn't actually directly in front of the fans but a few metres away (and that explains why most of the fans aren't directly looking at him as they would if he was standing right in front of their faces).

Without flicking through 5 pages, the OP was beat the minute the Souness pics appeared
- there will no doubt be cooler pics than his in the pages which followed but in my opinion, a couple of players looking at flare smoke isn’t that interesting (sorry).

If you look closely at his boots as well, you can see they are on top of the advertising boards, with his back studs 'behind the board and his front studs 'In front' of the board.
