Copenhagen or Basel

Hello looking to potentially go to either of these at the start of December. anyone any recommendations of which is nicer? and in terms of price what city is more expensive ? beer price etc. cheers!

Never been to Basel but Copenhagen must be one of the dearest places I've been in.Nothing wrong with the place itself but the price of drinks was extortionate.

Copenhagen is really nice although very expensive. Tivoli gardens worth a visit.

Basel in Switzerland? That will be dear. We stopped at a McDonalds last year while driving through Switzerland and it was 46 euro for two meals and two happy meals. My meal was far from happy, should have got a bloody refund for that one. Mental prices.

At that time of year you would be better getting yourself over to Germany. Christmas markets on and very reasonable.

Copenhagen is decent. Lots of good pubs, women are stunning.

Lived in Copenhagen a while back great place. As others have said it's expensive but no more so than Switzerland. Also lived in Berne which was quite compared with Copenhagen.

Basel expensive smaller than Copenhagen, easy to get about .Free tram pass when staying in city hotels.
