Something like 23 corners today and we did nothing with them. Why ?
The average is a goal every 50 corners allegedly. There is a simple answer and that is we are not very good at taking them.
Hope that's not a Leigh Griffiths tipThe average is a goal every 50 corners allegedly.
Which means you should get your money on Goldson for a goal in the next week!

Simple op, Katic. He is the main threat at crosses in our squad imo.Something like 23 corners today and we did nothing with them. Why ?
Sometimes it feels like us taking a corner is just a formality rather than a genuine effort or belief that it can produce a goal
I tend to agree with this and it's been a problem for many years for us. We need players - who can firstly and most fundamentally whip them into dangerous areas with pace every single time - and who are willing to take a burst nose when they go up for a header from a corner to burst the back of the net. A goal like that from a corner is a dying part of the game on the whole though.
We are without doubt the worse team in the league at Corners.Something like 23 corners today and we did nothing with them. Why ?
Didn't Middleton take a few after he came on?Our in-swinging corners first half were decent,Tav and Borna hitting them.they were causing Hamilton problems.
Second half Barisic hit most corners and they were ineffective out-swingers?
Don't know about corners but the length of time we take over throw ins and usually lose possession with it is staggering. There is a simple answer and that is we are not very good at taking them.
we actually created a couple of decent openings. in particular and dare i say it, short cornersThere was nothing wrong with the delivery of corners yesterday.
Because corners aren't the great goal-scoring opportunities that many people think. If you look at the stats, only about 1 in 70 corners leads to a goal.
It would be nice if the likes of Goldson and MacAuley could actually attack the ball and win a header at a corner.
Some of our players seem really static when we have a throw in.I don't think we move the opposition defence out of position often enoughDon't know about corners but the length of time we take over throw ins and usually lose possession with it is staggering.
