Continental Europe are cheaper markets than England by some margin, Gio and his back room staff will have more knowledge when shopping over there. One of the issues in England is that the £ paid for average players is unsustainable and for us it’s nigh on impossible to compete. We need to sell ourselves as a place where you can learn about the British game and get exposure to English markets just like van dyke did, while handling the pressure of a huge club and support aswell as showcasing your self every year in European club competition.
