I see Cristiano Jr is making his debut for Portugal u15 today. Is anyone else excited to see how he and Leo's sons progress over the next few years?

The chances of being world class are slim… and the chances of your son being world class are even slimmer.

Arguably oor Hagi is one of the better examples (and he’s not world class, a bit away from it).

Chiesa has been a decent player, although would say neither him or his dad were world class.

Jordi Cruyff certainly didn't get to the heights of his dad, but still had a decent career.

Diego Simeone's son is an interesting one. He looks a good player and has had a good start to his career.

Not sure where Cesare Maldini sits in terms of his playing career, but over 300 games for Milan and 14 caps for Italy in the days before they played loads of internationals, and then producing Paolo Maldini who was undoubtedly world class, isn’t a bad effort.

Edit; should really have read the thread first to see this has already been mentioned! If someone else did that I’d be calling them a fanny under my breath.
