i seem to remember him being “touted” for a £10m move. I’m sure he moved to them for about £4.5m.

Bit strange not trying to get some sort of fee for your investment - especially if there were “offers”.

Been reading that in here for years, and they're still here and still publishing anti Rangers poison.
If our strategy to defeat hostile media is to ignore them till they die, then I'm not convinced it will work.
 
They are not well. We live in there heads rent free every waken hour. Its drummed into there minds from a young age to hate anything british. Protestant. Rangers. It really is poison
 
The reason story’s like this are printed in tabloids is due to our club in the past few years not coming out and actively challenging them. for what it’s worth I don’t think any Rangers board should be free from being challenged on our finances after what we have been through. But the clubs custodians should be actively shooting down scaremongering articles immediately to prevent them spreading
 
On an unrelated note, hopefully they miss out on the CL again this year. We need this to happen to put a severe dent in their finances. This year there wont be as many people waiting on the sidelines to donate £20m to them.

It will also be interesting to see when the qualifiers overlap with any transfer window. Qualification effects whether move a player on or not. If the window were to shut before the qualifiers they are risking about £20m cash in the bank.

It also effects us as we got Kent after securing qualification last year.
 
Maybe he would be better off looking into 130+ years of bheasting at a certain club and mind his own f.ucking business.

Maybe not shooting down articles, but taking out all the sevcos personally. We should have tried to bankrupt 3 names long ago. I always think what would the other side of the city have done by now? Sorry but theres no way they wouldnt have lawyered up by now.

He was on an Old firm documentary I watched on YouTube from 1999 and he was about 50 then. He must be quite old now

They dont have 30million in the bank what a lot of shit,it wasnt even that amount at the turn of the year. So they pay wages and other costs and they now have more bank money than they did the.
 
Why would we spend £3million on Hagi if we simply couldn't afford to. Its bizarre that everyone feels the need to comment on our finances.

So apparently we’re going bust, however the SPFL want to delay the opening of the transfer window.Why?
Are they afraid of us strengthening?
We know who runs the SPFL is there trouble ahead for them this time though.
1. Big wages.
2. Probable court battle soon.
I know we keep saying it but this could be a turning point this season.

They've gone waaaaaay beyond what is considered as normal behaviour from rival fans and now for some reason they don't see why that is messed up. There is no need to create a story by banning them. We have now learned not to feed them information or to give them access to players. They have therefore become surplus to our requirements and the few fans who do buy their paper will soon stop as it gives them nothing they can’t obtain elsewhere on line.

They will still come up with rubbish like this but we can now see that this is being challenged and having to make such obvious amendments to the initial story just shows them up for what they are; out of touch and out of time.

Correct except he’s quoting a cash balance at a high point in time; let’s see what they declare next time they publish finances. No obvious big sale this summer and there won’t be rip-off sales like Tierney because everyone will be tighter than usual. Interesting times.

I don't get why they then took the quotes down? They know the consequences of their article before it. So why not stick by it? Has the club contacted them, if so what can we say other than we dont agree with it?
