after they publish the date and allow people to make plans......Two Glasgow teams so lets play it in Edinburgh.
Idiots.
As we said the other day just be thankfulTwo Glasgow teams so lets play it in Edinburgh.
Idiots.
To be fair the website said 23rd or 24th - not sure why the media was so definite.after they publish the date and allow people to make plans......
Tynecastle ideal size to give a good atmosphere, grounds in Glasgow too big or too small. Two Glasgow teams so lets play it in Edinburgh.
Idiots.
Really ? A showpiece event in the women’s game is moved for the convenience of a guy playing in a lower league match. The Thistle match should have been moved.Seems sensible.
If is the big word there!Tinpot decision if it was based on the Thistle Manager's availability.
23rd got confirmed when they confirmed the dates of the semi finals last month along with the venueTo be fair the website said 23rd or 24th - not sure why the media was so definite.
Interesting, thanks.23rd got confirmed when they confirmed the dates of the semi finals last month along with the venue
If you are playing in a cup final and work on a Saturday( not sure how many do) then try and get the day off.If is the big word there!
Most womens games are played on a Sunday, means most of the girls can work Saturdays to get the Sunday off so scheduling it for a Saturday was just daft. It wasn't long ago that a player had to leave before extra time in a game as she works in the ambulance service and had to start her shift. All teams have part time players other than the big 3, Hearts, Hibs, Aberdeen have some full time players and some part time players, same as the men's Scottish championship.
Brian Graham knew from the start he could potentially miss it and he would have had it not been moved so overall its the correct decision to change it to the Sunday
It's the correct decision to move it, would have been even better if it was played in Glasgow as they would get a much bigger crowd
So you would rather accommodate a "neutral" and change day rather than suit the people who play on a Sunday every week?If you are playing in a cup final and work on a Saturday( not sure how many do) then try and get the day off.
Also aren’t the SWPL games played on a Sunday ? That will affect neutrals turning up. Tinpot decision.
How many of the players work on a Saturday ? How many work on Sundays ? How many would not be able to get a day off if they put in for the day off given the time between now and the final ?So you would rather accommodate a "neutral" and change day rather than suit the people who play on a Sunday every week?
St Mirren Park could have been considered.Tynecastle ideal size to give a good atmosphere, grounds in Glasgow too big or too small.
