Sol Bamba was diagnosed a few years ago with the same thing and is back playing so hoping it’ll be the same outcome for Brooks.

Just heard this on the radio in the car home from work; the boy himself is quoted as saying he hopes to make a full recovery; all good wishes to him in his fight. No surrender, son.
 
Was reading about this earlier.

He seems upbeat and prognosis good but still a shock for a fit young athlete to have that horrible illness.

Jeezo. Best of luck to the boy. Remember seeing him on the TV for shef utd a few years back, looked an immense talent. 24 years old, brutal.
 
Opened this hoping we were linked with him, cracking player. Wish him well in his battle and hopefully he makes a full recovery
