Always wanted a positive song to this tune, rather than singing about the other mob....had this in my head for a while....

Do you worst FF :) but I can imagine Jody or Bobby Parks belting this out. Maybe not live up to my Ibroxonia, but I'm happy enough to share:)

Oh we were down, and we were low,

In the spring 3-years ago

But then you made the move from Liverpool,

And in Glasgow you would thrive

What a time to be alive,

As you told us “Let’s Go for 55

We love Stevie G,

Oh what can it mean,

To a Rangers supporter

At the top of the League

You were born and bred

As a scouser dressed in red,

But now you wear the Rangers royal blue

And you’ve brought good times on the pitch,

Connor Goldson, Barisic

Kamara, Hagi, Roofe & Ryan Kent

We love Stevie G,

Top Class SB.

I could see that being sung in the stadium.

Added to my 55 Playlist.

Anyone up for bringing this to life?

I’m certainly not that guy, but after several positive comments, would this be a goer, and can anyone make a recording?

Or will it forever be on my 55 playlist alone?

Any Jodie’s or Davie Mackintosh’s on board?

Its dreadful and would just be changed to cheer up whoever the tim manager is.

Better to keep these chants short like superally for example that was pretty good and lasted years.

I prefer the original.

Could you imagine the original on Sunday would be modified a few times.

Neil Lennon
Leigh Griffiths
Shane Duffy
Mikel Lustig
Peter Lawwell
Roy Keane

Anyone else to the SFB list feel free to add :D.

Tried this effort yesterday

55! 55! Steven Ge55ard!
55! 55! I say!
55! 55! STEVEN GE55ARD!
And 56 is on the way!

Steeeeeeeven Ge55ard!
Steeeeeeeeeeeeven Ge55ard!
Steven Ge55ard is the King of Kings!
And is a bit short before 56.....
Maybe “Number 56” would fit better?
Great effort though.
And OP, definitely a great idea for yours. Chorus can go on forever at Ibrox.
And you do only select good ones, even when you steal them from me...:)):)):))

Another shout out fro this one, to see if it has any legs this week in particular?

Any songsters fancy getting this added to the playlist, or shall I file into Room 101 for good?

The chorus is a cracker - hopefully that catches on.

It would also get me out of a spot where I have this song on a Rangers playlist and it doesn’t feel right to teach the wee man the Tommy Burns version of the chorus

:shh:

OK I read through this while I had The Monkees playing in another tab. Ken what? It scans beautifully and rhyming 'pitch' and 'barasic' is a stroke of genius.

9/10 from me, big chap. My only complaint? No space to %^*& the pope, the IRA or Bobby Sands.

Don’t care what it is but our gaffer needs a song. Loved the Warburton song. Would be class if one of the lyrical geniuses of FF could go down the same route. ( this could be comedy gold on a Friday night :D )

Haha, cheers.

This one may be a bit marmite, but the gaffer needs a song.

I just also noticed that someone on Twitter suggested this to Marv and he retweeted it, so perhaps even the big man could make it his own? Hahah
