Dick Donald stand shut for cup match

Think it is just the rear section that will closed if they don’t sell enough tickets for the other stands.

Only the upper tier is shut and will only open if all existing STH up there purchase a ticket

Please note, the Richard Donald Stand Upper Deck will only be available for this match is there is sufficient demand. Season ticket holders in this area can purchase their seat, however if demand does not reach the required level the Ticket Office will be in touch to relocate

Why not give that stand to us and give them the away section?
Because the seats in the away section aren’t fit for purpose.
You sit on them, they break, large screwed studs sticking out the concrete to stand on. Joke of a place.
No way they’d stick the sheep in there.
Plus the dick Donald stand has hospitality seating for home fans so they’d lose revenue.

Galling that potentially 2500 seats unoccupied and loads of us cant get in. If they're shitey stadium is not capable of accommodating 20% segregated for away fans then it shouldn't be allowed to host cup games and it should be moved to Dundee
It is capable though. Clearly it is capable though it's just that they are using spurious reasons not to.

Scottish football must be the only business in the world where you would actually see paying customers turned away from buying something and they yet the same mob complain about not getting enough money in the same breath?

We had a cup game Vs a Diddy team relocated there many years ago.
They would not sell any tickets to away supporters except via RFC nor would they sell tickets to any one unless their post code was that as the diddy team. Result about 5/6000 in the stadium.

no mention of the hospitality revenue been kept by the home club in the rules

So all if “gate receipts” are to be split 50/50 that would include a cut of hospitality revenue (although granted not the subsequent mark up for food and drink)?

Presume they would counted as admission charge but there no mention of them been excluded with the only exception of them not been allowed for complementary purposes

It’s only 3 months since they were making all sorts of demands for the semi final at Hampden. Now they may not even open half the home end against their most hated opponents, that’s like us shutting the Copland rear against the tims. Two bob shysters.

If there is no interest ? Ffs their highest attendance this season has been against Rangers as is the case everytime Rangers visit.

The difference being that we can fill our stadium! They can't!

W.A.T.P.

And people wonder why there are so few willing to invest in Scottish football and why we get such low TV revenue?!!

Scottish football deserves f.uck all.

What a more glaring way to highlight it next time they look for a larger allocation for a match out with pittodrie.

Just keep the powder dry for retaliation.
