Lived in East Renfrewshire all my life, would say 80% of my friends are Rangers fans.

Newton Mearns, Clarkston and Giffnock are strong bluenose areas!
Any time I am having a kickabout with my boy on astro turf parks in the area I see plenty of kids with Ceptic tops but never any Rangers. A bit worrying for the future but hopefully to do with the problems with strips over the last few years.

Never had a conversation with a poet till I started a job few years ago. Lived in the southside, Ayrshire and Belfast. il never be one of they ones who have friendly banter with them sorts!

Growing up in Glasgow, it would be around 50/ 50 and it was a good laugh, tbh. Nowadays, I rarely mix with any of them. There's always one bitter Peasant who can't help himself.

All my mates are bears. At work, scum fans outnumber us two to one. At school, in the early 70s we were outnumbered seven to one. This was down to them winning that cup in 67. Loads of my classmates who were Rangers fans started supporting the scum and this was the same in every other class and years above me. C***s.

These guys have kids and grandkids who all support them so my home town was overrun with the vermin.

In my work there’s more poets than Bears, but that’s ok as I don’t like any of them, when I meet one of us at work we always have a wee chat about Rangers. In my friends and family it’s about 90% Rangers or maybe more

Know of a couple of Celtic fans through business dealings but it's Man Utd fans I have to put up with down here. Sometimes I'd rather they were tims the amount of shite I have to listen to

What town is that , so I can stay away.

Forres. What really p****d me off was that none of the scum fans were RC but were and still are, more bitter than any West of Scotland poet. Singing IRA s***e and calling Bears huns and Orange b******s. I battered more than a few over the years.
Surprise to hear that mate. Didn't realise the scum were so dominant in highland towns. I can never get my head around a non RC supporting that mob, considering their history of supporting the IRA and paedophila tendencies.

Not trying to be staunch but I have 1 friend who is celtic fan. My 3 best friends are all staunch bluenoses who are/were season ticket holders.

95% of ma mates are Rangers fans. Not intentional just happened.

Rangers fans for all of family. Friends are mixed evenly for the most part. Whereas places I've worked have had Celtic fans as the majority annoyingly

I'm from Cumbernauld this town feels like it's full of them tho someone told me this isn't the case,I've lived in Carbrain and Greenfaulds all my life so maybe I've just been unlucky !
I've lived in Cumbernauld since 1971 and there is no way there are more of they manky filth.

Got to laugh at the people saying they dont know any celtic fans
I know them. I just choose not to socialise with them. I’d say that’s fair enough.

Genuinely wouldn’t call any mentally challenged a “friend”. They simply cannot be trusted. Their bigotry always comes through in the end.

Know more Rangers fans but the most surprising thing for me these days is the number of guys that aren’t into football at all.

Well, maybe we are very fortunate. I l currently live in Plymouth and haven't came across one in my 10 years here. Immediately prior to that I lived in the USA and in the Deep South which is a mentally challenged free zone.
I can honestly say I currently don't know any Celtic fans. It's a bit disappointing you seem to doubt anyone to be in this position.
Oh and btw all my family in Scotland are all bears without exception.
Perhaps you need to try harder to keep them out of your life.

Born and bred in East Ayrshire, when I was younger the ratio must have been 80% or more to the good guy. Last 10 of so years the seems to be mote mentally challengeds around but that's down to 2012 and out subsequent merchandise woes, which are well behind us.

Thankfully don't know any, don't want to know any ever.
Where I live there are none and that's the way I like it.

Knew a few at school but was around 60/40 Bears, 2012 put paid to keeping in touch with any of them even on social media.

I’m self employed so none at work but my Mrs father and 2 brothers are mentally challengeds. We tend to avoid football chat lol.

Islay being a rather small place you know who supports the green and grey. They are all bitter to the core and funnily enough have been rather invisible the past week or so.

There’s more of them in Glasgow but Scotland in general has more of us. I’m from Neilston and went to school in the Mearns (both not Glasgow) and I hardly know any. Neilston getting worse in terms of their presence though, but I think that’s inevitable in most places given recent years.

Barrhead is loaded with mentally challengeds but there’s probably some of the staunchest people known to man kicking about there :D

I'm in Killie and this is bang on...the c*nts are everywhere nowadays

I find the question ridiculous, but I have been retired for years. People who enter my family have to become Baptised Protestants because that is my Faith.

Been called sad old Dinosaur by Papists and Atheists but feck them.

I dont have any friends ,i know as many of them as i do us but nowadays i will just say hello to them and keep on walking but will talk to bears i know mainly about Rangers ,think i will keep it that way

Ive got one mate who is a celtic supporter. I obviously know others but in what I would call my circle of friends its only my big mate who supports celtic. We very rarely talk about football. Other than that every one else in my friends and family are Rangers.

A bit of a debate, always remember King saying that " we could miss a generation of fans"
theirs no way of seeing who has the larger fan base, we can argue all day with them but i'd like to know if you know more Rangers fans or them?

Unfortunately adding family and friends up its more them than us in my circle, was wondering what yours is?

Know one vaguely and another one who works amongst our otherwise 100% proddy workforce.

We have some seriously heavy duty Bears in our company, both in the office and in the warehouse.

No idea how he puts up with the constant abuse.

I don’t have any of them as friends . Don’t like them and so wouldn’t really like to be in their company
