Dortmund v Bayern - 17:30 BT Sport

1-1 in Frankfurt. Opening goal took a deflection off Hasabe. Should never have turned away from the shot. Another Japanese player was involved in the Eagles equaliser as Silva finished a shot that the Frieburg keeper couldn't deal with.

Freiburg do a hell of a job in the Bundesliga despite having the league's smallest ground. A very well run club.

Frankfurt have had plenty of chances, many of which were gifts from absolutely terrible goalkeeper distribution. Couldn't finish them though and Freiburg have been ruthless at the other end of the park. 2 goals within a couple of minutes - the 3rd a really nice finish after a good run onto a nice through ball - and Freiburg look home and hosed. 3-1 to the visitors. Frankfurt manager in all kinds of trouble and likely to get the German equivalent of the P45.

Bayer Leverkusen were good at Ibrox but no where near as good as some made out. For 55 minutes we were stinking - could barely pass a ball or retain possession.

3-3 in Frankfurt

Absolutely criminal defending by the visitors. Frankfurt should be dead and buried at 3-1. The Kameda goal was comical - defender tries something only he can explain because he was under serious pressure from the Japanese attacking midfielder and left his touch back to the keeper really short. Kameda had nothing to do but get past the defender and toe poke the ball into the net. The Frankfurt 3rd was a nice finish but theres no way that the right wingback should be getting behind the last defender. Really poor awareness from the Freiburg defence - it was a nice enough cross but if the defender is aware of the Frankfurt player then he defends it differently.

Been a good game to watch. Freiburg keeper made some brilliant saves but just as likely to play his team into trouble with his distribution.

Dont like Bayern but %^*& Dortmund (and all the other german teams that support "them").

Recorded this and watched it back later on as couldn’t get away from work, no fans aside a really enjoyable game.

Still seems like a bit of a novelty watching two sets of players of that quality play a game with no fans around, like you’ve snuck in to a training ground or something.

If the EPL comes back hearing the player/manager shouts is probably going to be the highlight tbh.

dunno if anyone is going to care but you have to wonder how much the cost to rights was if BBC Alba are showing it :D

BBC ALBA to broadcast live German women’s Bundesliga, the first live sport broadcast by a UK free-to-air channel since lockdown.
