An absolute bizarre period in our history.

Some unbelievable highs 02 cups, 02-03 Treble, Helicopter Sunday, Last 16 CL.
Mixed with some unbelievable lows - 03-04, 05-06 (domestically).

In a way The signings at the time mirrored that.
Prso and Nova Vs Dragan and Franny J.

That was the paradox of Eck’s time in charge. The highs were brilliant ( some of the best days of my Rangers supporting life) but the lows were truly awful - and sometimes just a few months between them!

Likewise brilliant signings mixed in with some of the worst players in our recent history.

Overall you’d have to say Eck did well - 2 titles in 4 seasons with the club downsizing and against a very
strong Celtic team.
That said I still think we should have sacked him in the 05/06 season - Eck himself looked ill with the stress he was facing.
