Dubaigate - Hush Hush / Sweep Sweep

Well well, here we are, February 4th & still not a peep regarding any investigation into the Dubia 'R+R' trip . Is there a realistic chance of seeing some 'consistency' with regards to breaches of protocols, or should we now assume, this has indeed, been swept under the shagpile carpets of officialdom......
Its quite staggering how previous breeches have been swiftly dealt with ,yet here we are, a month on and not a single utterance from the authorities. Farcical doesn't even begin to describe it.

Also still waiting on poor wee Neic being cited for his car crash, scatter gun interview

Also, you have TLB shooting his rancid mouth off, regarding facilities at other grounds, which inturn provoked a review for all, regarding protocols. That shower of shit have not only broken every guidline in the book, but they've got the utter brass neck, to call out other teams facilities after they've played .... Surely, if the concerns were indeed serious, these should be raised with the club in question, before games...Not the Sellick way though......

If I was Aberdeen I would be kicking the door down for answers, they made more than half their 1st team to isolate.
Where is the parity?
I agree with the gist of the thread but did sellick not have 13 players self isolating as a result of the trip?

Nothing will happen until after we have officially won the league and can't be caught then they will get some small fine wrap on the knuckles and / or player suspensions that won't matter in the grand scheme of things but the sfa can then say that they did something about it

Why are no media outlet or politician that were so vocal at the time not asking this question? What’s the results of the investigation into the trip? Even after Neic car crash interview about it you’d think someone would want to follow that up after him attacking every man and his dog

Highlights the corrupt SFA

Dubai we have seen them break the SFA covid rules and even their manager and assistant manager admit the breaches

Come back with Covid cases

To-date zero sanctions

Jones and Edmundson go to a house party in Glasgow. 7 game bans dished out very quickly

Also the SMSM a have not asked the SFA what they are doing about Dubaigate

As usual they suck off Lieswells cock

The SFA will be lauding them for going about their business with the minimum of fuss. Rather than wait for the Football authorities to come down hard on them, the club likr no other have taken decisive action by suspending Julien for... well until he's fit enough to play again.

All of it is disgusting; but not surprising.

I agree with PP - we should not let this go.

But other teams need to speak up louder and more consistently. PP mentioned Aberdeen should speak up. What about the lower leagues who were effectively fully shut down (sacrificed) because of their trip to Dubai. Where are they? What are they saying? I really cannot understand how one club can suffocate the voices of all other clubs in scotland - surely if they ALL had the balls to speak up and not let it go something could be achieved.

Was easy to punish Jones and Edmundson because it was their own decision and could easily separate them from the club in terms of punishment.

SFA/SPFL are clearly afraid to go near the Dubai mess. They can't do anything without it leading back to Celtic so there's no way they're going to risk provoking that wrath.

Dubai trip itself
Breaking protocols over there
Positive covids on way back
Record number of players isolating
Duffy somehow being able to play
Lennon bringing the game into disrepute in his interview

And yet still no word from the sfa
The first point of yours - the trip itself - was the sidetrack used to by-pass all the other wrongs in this.

The trip, the authorisation, the ‘comments’ back and forth between snp, the sfa chief sayin the trip was authorised then saying it was wrong, the moral aspect of the trip and how it hurt sellik supporters.

All this bullsh!t did its job in taking the real issues out of this discussion.
They should have been hammered but all the talk was about the authorisation to go!

Rangers had 2 players suspended for 7 games
Yep, they acted swiftly and correctly in that instance for the same thing Griffith's did. Suppose it's hard to actually be seen to punish celtc* given they've been at the forefront of the fight against the pandemic. 'sighs'...

Maxwell said: “The permission to go was given by the Scottish Government. In terms of any alleged breaches that happened during their trip, you guys will be aware of the disciplinary process we have which is well used.
“We have a compliance officer who looks at all sorts of alleged breaches from all sorts of clubs over all sorts of alleged incidents.
“Everything we are made aware of goes through that process and it would be foolish to say we have not been made aware of issues potentially with Celtic being abroad.
“That will go through the process and it’s obviously not appropriate to comment on an ongoing issue. We will just see what happens from there.”

I'm sure Mr Maxwell is a man of his word and it's just a matter of time! Not like the media have gone radio silent either to push for answers. There is definitely activity going on at compliance level and we know how fast it can work, tick tock ya scumbag!

Perhaps looking at points deduction but want to be sure 2nd place is secured for their masters

Absolutely ridiculous claiming it's the remit of a compliance officer, who we don't know if she's still there.

How is the consequences and punishments for leaving the country during a pandemic, breaking protocol rules and bringing a virus back to the UK the responsibility of one random bint?

It’s rotten to the core and needs dredged of filth influence which ruins everything it touches. Not worth continuing in Scottish football the way it is run and controlled by people from the mob and too many others shit scared of the mob to say anything about it, that’s where we are sadly and it’s got to be challenged otherwise it’s shafting time for us for evermore.

Filed alongside the Tom Boyd “referee conspiracy” file - which is very dusty now.
