Or they could invite Neic back for his next stint.“Hello, is that Derek Mcinnes?”
Now that's top level desperation. The absolute mental gymnastics from these creeps.Just seen this belter on kerryfail reacting to Howe looking unlikely:
"Maybe Howe is a smokescreen for some key negotiations with other quality appointments like Martinez"
I’m sure there is some delusional cretin out there that believes Pep will be on his way once City win the CL.Now that's top level desperation. The absolute mental gymnastics from these creeps.
And thats just Shane Duffy playing next weekYou just get the feeling that lot have another embarrassing comedy moment in them before the season is over.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised. I know we take the piss, but %^*& me a large number of them are effing bonkers. It's comical and scary at the same time ha .I’m sure there is some delusional cretin out there that believes Pep will be on his way once City win the CL.
Would've been great to see Howe arriving at Sharkhead with his Churchill bust, and Union flag tablecloth, and watching some random alcoholic tramp picking up a Heras fence and launching it at him. Silly boy Eddie, if you're even thinking of leading a vile club like them.
True, but Howe and Deek and night and day.Got to remember that we got turned down by a loser and it turned out to be the best thing that happened to us.
We got turned down by a shitebag who wanted to stay in his safety blanket of the sheep shaggers. They might grt turned down for someone taking an EPL job. Slight difference.Got to remember that we got turned down by a loser and it turned out to be the best thing that happened to us.
if that's true, then it's no gonna give him much time to get them ready for the CL qualifiers, as they've got a poop load of stuff they need to sort outFrom the Record:
Celtic are being made to sweat over Eddie Howe after the in-demand manager’s camp insisted a deal to take him to Parkhead was still way off.
The Hoops had hoped to have the former Bournemouth boss on board this week with a view to taking charge of the side for next season.
But Howe’s representatives are playing hardball and insisting nothing has been agreed as yet and talk of a move already being in place has been branded extremely premature.
Celtic are hoping to persuade the 43-year-old to Parkhead but they face a fight for his services – with Crystal Palace still a possible option and Newcastle United also strongly linked.
A representative for Howe told Sky Sports: “There has been significant interest in Eddie from a number of clubs. However, talks of any deal being close are extremely premature. His plan remains to not return to management until the summer at the earliest.”
Record Sport understands the negotiations have hit several stumbling blocks over Howe’s hopes to have his own backroom team alongside him, as well as Bournemouth’s Richard Hughes brought in as director of football.
Celtic are currently going through a revamp behind the scenes with Dominic McKaybringing forward his arrival as chief executive three months with the former rugby boss now due to check in next week.
The Hoops had hoped speeding up the restructuring could push along the bid to land their no.1 managerial target.
To be honest, the manager shouldn’t be picking the DOF...but Eddie Howe absolutely should insist for his man to come with him.Record Sport understands the negotiations have hit several stumbling blocks over Howe’s hopes to have his own backroom team alongside him, as well as Bournemouth’s Richard Hughes brought in as director of football. -
The tramps probably insisting on keeping the current coaching staff as well as saying no to letting him pick the DOF. I don’t understand why people say he wouldn’t sign till summer anyway. He could sign on the dotted line now then have a hands off, sit in the stand role til summer, make a plan for moving forward, look for strengths and weaknesses with his own eyes etc.
He will be using this as a negotiation tool and letting them know if he doesn’t get what he wants he can go elsewhere. Hardly that feeling in your stomach feeling Gerrard talks about when we came in for him.
You don't negotiate in public unless you want others to know about it.Record Sport understands the negotiations have hit several stumbling blocks over Howe’s hopes to have his own backroom team alongside him, as well as Bournemouth’s Richard Hughes brought in as director of football. -

Totally agree they’d be right to tell him no to his own DOF, because when he inevitably fails and leaves he would then take the DOF with him which would be the opposite of the point. Hopefully neither of them budge and nothing moves until late summer as it leaves very little time for a massive turnaround. To be honest, the manager shouldn’t be picking the DOF...but Eddie Howe absolutely should insist for his man to come with him.
Aye I smell s hy te, stringing them along for season book sales
I calling this as nonsense. Howe will turn up as the new Peasant ManageHowes agent won't want to put off perspective suitors , thinking it's a done deal.
Season book? it's not 1986.

That was then, This is now.We got turned down by a shitebag who wanted to stay in his safety blanket of the sheep shaggers. They might grt turned down for someone taking an EPL job. Slight difference.
They won't be in the cl next yearif that's true, then it's no gonna give him much time to get them ready for the CL qualifiers, as they've got a poop load of stuff they need to sort out
They’re still desperately trying to lick the MoJo egg off their ears. For eddie howe, read mo johnston 89....they're spinning the tale of having him agreed in principal, when there are other seriously interested parties in signing him....they'll be left with egg on their faces again.
He must have dodgy pictures of someone there. If they rate him so highly why not give him the job?It sounds like Howe isn't interesting in keeping the likes of Brave John
I thought this too budThis. He's stringing them along.

Smoke and mirrors for Dermot to step in and "get his man" splashed across every red top with Howe elevated to Pep status.
Like a book.
Palace is on his doorstep so to speak , to me that’s a no brainier . The guy allegedly doesn’t like north of Watford , kinda covers it for meCan see him taking a job like Crystal Palace or something similar in the lower end of the Premier League before the Celtic job tbh
When City had a slow start this season including getting beat 5-2 by Leicester, some of them had Pep on his way to Paradise Lost.I’m sure there is some delusional cretin out there that believes Pep will be on his way once City win the CL.
He’s obviously waiting to see what EPL jobs come up between now and the end of the season. Could be waiting to see if one of the clubs stay up before he joins. I’d say the tims are about third choice at the moment. This would be the icing on the cake if they dont get him. Still don’t know what all the fuss is over him. He’s obviously been told he can’t bring his own men in and this is a tactic to try and force their hand
