McCann got it spot on on Sportscene, that's not a natural way of passing the ball.

He's went in that way knowing that he'd be leaving a bit on the Hearts player. You can't stud someone's shin, it was endangering an opponent and apparently the Hearts player's leg is a mess.

Type of challenge that's been happening for years and players thankfully won't be able to get away with with VAR working as it should.

There is no need to challenge studs first or have studs pointed up like that in a sly manner on follow through. Knew what he was doing and his face told its own story when red was brandished.

A great example of VAR working well.
