England World Cup winner Nobby Stiles has died

Sad news; superb servant to Man United, and another English WC winner gone.
Reading the article though, it sounds like his health has been poor for a number of years.
R I P, Nobby.

They were just talking about him on talksport and he seemingly has been unwell for a while, not too many of the wc winners team left.
 
RIP Nobby Stiles another 60's great.
However Nobby Stiles has been treated absolutely abominably in financial terms following his chronic illnesses in his later years by both the Football Association and by Manchester United.

'Mrs Stiles was told by the English FA (financial help for the 1966 WC winning team facing hardship) to fill out a form to be assessed for financial aid . She declined'. Naturally.

another legend who Man Utd ignored when he fell on hard times, had to sell all of his medals to survive, shameful.
